Tip: mud flap repair

Cut slits at the top of the mud flap holes. If your tire blows out, the mud flap is less likely to take down the bracket with it.

Cut excess flap so it's not rubbing the ground. You can see the torn holes from when I ripped off this flap earlier.

No slits on this side. It was already installed and I didn't rip off this side.

But I did cut off the excess while I was working down there.
