Water needs to be boiled in a kettle to wash in and they drink bottled water.

Boiling only makes the water concentrate the amounts of lead. Kills most bacteria, yes. Removes lead? No.

Part of the problem was the water being tested before entering distribution pipes. The pipes leached lead into the water.

It wasnt Flint's water but additives by the new water treatment process that causes Flint's old pipes to corrode.
