You may or may not be familiar with this arcade game, Dragon's Lair, it was mini movie-like arcade where you play as an air headed knight to save the hot blond princess from the Dragon.
Simple plot for a great game, with fantastic humor, innovative gameplay and really beautiful animation for each time you die, Dragon's Lair was one of the best arcades that there were.
Well, it turns out Don Bluth alongside Gary Goldman are on the road again trying to make this game into a movie.
Don Bluth and Gary Goldman have a long career on animation, incluiding working with Disney (The Rescuers, Winnie the pooh) and working alone with their company, Don Bluth productions (The secret of Nimh, Land before time, American Tail, etc).
They are part of everyone's childhoods and an inspiration to every animator out there.
So, with the help of Indiegogo, they're getting money to hire a professional writer to write the script for the movie, and also a 4+ minute preview to show the producers to get green lighted and been given a budget.
I just wanted to let you know, as i haven't seen anything about it here, i guess it would be awesome if we helped them out with any donation we could give (i only gave 5 dollars... because no moneys).
