You buy a 980ti when the 1080 is out, you fucked up.

Good kit. I hope you got that 980 Ti on sale though.

Seconded.....

Especially now that the 10s came out.
That's the exact reason.

Tbh would have waited for the 1070 to lower its price
So while I was putting it together I realized my cooler was larger than anticipated and covers the last spot on the motherboard for my ram.
The tridentz seem very tall though. Any suggestions on a more low profile stick?

crucial (micron) are huge in enterprise market. gskill is focused on & popular in consumer market with flashy colorful heatsinks.
if you can, take back & swap with crucial, kingston or corsair ram. they all have low profile. 2133mhz is fine. crucial cheap &most reliable
to clarify: 2x crucial 2133mhz 8gb sticks. 16gb is enough & 2133mhz is F-all diff unless youre doing some real heavy workstation stuff.
I have the two ddr4 8gb in right now so it's running fine. But I have 2 empty slots that I just can't leave empty lol
thatll increase the size of the tank but your still only filling it with same amount of fuel
Good. Now pair it with a 32" 1440p monitor. Shameful if its just for a small 20something" 1080p
Unfortunately using my tv as monitor right now. 4K monitor of some sort will be purchased soon
Forget 4k. It hasnt matured yet. Nearly all but the most expensive are TN monitors & 980ti isnt powerful enough. 980ti does 1440p fluenty
Thanks for the info! Fairly new to most of this
< usable. 21:9 ultra widscreen isnt useful when watching video as most is 16:9, and they lack vertical height unless 34"+
np. monitor is samsung s32d85 or benq 3200pt. 1 large 16:9 monitor, no bezels in the middle, multi monitor config hassle. 16:9 is always >
