Ok so I have to vent a little. The past 2 years I have completely hooked up my secret santas! I had so much fun picking out all the gifts that fit their personalities. Both years I haven't gotten anything in return but that's the roll of the dice. I have never regretted it, it's so much fun to give and then see their reaction!
This year...
I got my secret santa and in his profile he just links an Amazon wish list. The list contains a couple of $3 items and then I scroll down to see a $1,000 tablet, $800 phone, $1,000 headset...
I mean, isnt the point of this to see what peoples interests are and have fun putting a package together that you put thought into? This guy wants a stranger to buy him $1,000 items in a secret santa?
I am having a hard time not resenting this person. Am I wrong? Is this common practice?
