Netflix Series Idea

The premise of my idea; to make an actual faux documentary based on the interviews in WWZ.

I'm sure there's some legal loophole around paramount owning the name ( for fuck sake, all they used was the god damn title), and I would of course get Max Brooks permission before doing a Fan Film proof of concept.

Structurally, it would play out like a history channel documentary (like the pre-pawn stars era). Each episode focusing on a section of the world or a specific period leading up to or during the war, one event at a time. Bouncing between "survivors" giving multiple point of views on overlapping events.

Now the fun part. Where as majority of the show will consist of interviews, there will be either "reenactments" or "found footage" with some narration over it.

For the proof of concept I'll try to do the character Breckenridge "Breck" Scott, the salesman behind the successful and useless vaccine "Phalanx".
