Finer than Astro Glide. Slicker than a Yes album. As good as God slept through the holocaust.

Alright, every fucking year I see shit like this. And you're all fucking wrong. It ain't the damned wrapping paper and scissors bullshit. That's kid stuff. What you want is a fresh blade in your box knife when you're breaking down the cardboard afterwards. Feeling that slide through like butter is the real stuff.

Gently open and close the jaw as you go. not enough to be chopping, but enough to change the exact contact point. takes a little practice, but helps a ton. also ofc, the quality of the paper matters.

It's at times like this that having a guillotine is like pleasure you can't measure. Slide, guide, *shhhhTNK*

No, Gritty, not THAT kind of guillotine.

Oh, I used to have one of those scrapbooking guillotines with a 50" track (broke down into 4 pieces, with a straight side and a wiggly side, and 5 different blade depth pieces). It was magnificent. Roll out the cutting mat under the paper, clamp the track down, and you could give the blade a gentle shove and it would race across leaving a PERFECT cut every time...I miss scrapbooking but nobody prints pictures anymore...
