Even in D&D Druids are bad asses. Hell, especially in D&D.

Lately I've wanted to play a Tiefling Fey Warlock who was raised by Satyrs and just wants to seduce as many dudes as possible.

Nice to see The Magister cover again.

I’ve been listening to back episodes of Adventure Zone. It’s making me want to play really badly.

And for once, it's not mostly Pathfinder art!

#2 Gnolls! I love gnolls! Favorite D&D race!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

good post OP. always upvote D&D

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I spent hours looking through my older bro’s D&D monster manuals. Still makes me happy.

I see you hiding there cacodemon.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Pretty nice, but i don't see a picture of me.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I wish some of these artists knew how weapons worked. That axe in #1 is so silly.

+1 for not just loading it up with Larry Elmore stuff.

#19 That looks like the Pathfinder artwork. Pathfinder is published by Paizo; I suspect someone threw on the Wizards copywriter by mistake.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The first few Pathfinder books were sourcebooks for 3.5. Also artists aren't tied to a single publisher. But yeah looks a lot like early PF.

I want to see one for the Rogue that hid up the bum of a Geisha for the entire game just to stab the Boss while he shagged the Geisha.

#8 is Boromir defending Merry and Pippin from the white hand by the river, right?

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

#3 is a cacodemon with a body

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Yup. That's more or less where Adrian Carmack copied the cacodemon from. Iirc, the monster is meant to be an astral dreadnought.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Tho the characteristics of the Cacodemon are closer to the Beholder... but I guess they didn't want to be that obvious.

This will make a fine addition to my collection...

#1 Seems like in every fantasy genre, the goblin is the easy to kill pesky foe that's only somewhat dangerous in large numbers. 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This one in particular, looks like he'll fuck your shit up all by himself. 2/2

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

... but #5 is Diregraf Escort (Avacyn Restored) from Magic the Gathering.

9 years ago | Likes 61 Dislikes 0

shhhhhh

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah avacyn's collar is a dead give away

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Thank god someone said it.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I said it in another comment, but #19 is the artwork from the Pathfinder books published by Paizo, which is legally distinct form D&D.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

*from.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But also fundamentally the same

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I came here to say this. Super glad I'm not alone on Nerd Mountain.

As a fan of both D&D and MTG: I'm a huge fan of the Planeshift stuff 'Wizard's is releasing. Been a blast taking my party to Zendikar.

I did a 17th level rise of the eldrazi campaign. Spooked me good.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

oh my god if I could get a DM to do MTG stuff that would be the dopest shit ever. Holy crap.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh yeah. Same with the Amonkhet and Innistrad stuff I've been seeing.

Danny "The Ranger" Trejo back in action.

9 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

The way he's holding those two arrows annoy me. He's not gonna hit shit, one arrows going into the air, the other into the ground. Silly.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Anchor point is pretty awkward too

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Also the string is gonna peel the skin clean off his arm

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Tru dat, his arm is all bent inwards

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Isn't #8 Boromir?

9 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

It is, near his death ):

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Rip Boromir greatest of Gondors warriors

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

His bro was better

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not according to there dad

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Denethor had a lot of faults, but at least he knew how to put on a good Barbecue

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Before we started our current campaign, our DM gave us homework. One question was, 'what do you want to see in this game?'

9 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

Do you still have the hw he gave you? Sounds like a good thing to give to my players.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had been reading a collection of Lovecraft's stories at the time, so I blithely wrote 'Lovecraft shit.'

9 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Bring on the Illithids!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I have never been so regretful in my life. Anyway. Art like this inspires my DM, so I'm'a forward this to him.

9 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

The threat of Cthulhu in power armor is real for you.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Need more inspiration? Putting together an art folder for my group.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's a good DM. I always try to go out of my way to tell my players yes.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

"yes! and..." is my favorite phrase

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I love giving PCs cool stuff. I tried giving one of my pally's a pegasus. i forget what we settled on but it was still cool.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Heck yeah, make a living world with alot of things going on, let them decide what to focus on, than go more in depth with that.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Exactly. Im not the party's enemy. Im here to help them have fun, and have fun by extension.
