thedarksideoftheforce
Always be batman.
Iamtheonewhoposts
Loved him as Batman. Can't wait for Justice League.
NotHardly
that is great... yeah, career has been a bit bumpy
FightingRevengeOfYourMom
sorta related: netflix daredevil was soooo worth it
bartman2014
You left out the non-vaccinated CPA
steikewaffel
I tried to watch Batman vs Superman many time but it's just too lame. worst batman ever.
CaspianQuix
I'd call that a pretty good case for evolution.
AltXAccount
Yup, even if the movie was at best watchable, he gave it his all and that shows in his physical transformation.
RVAROA
Most out of shape Superman ever
AquaCrusher
That bat thic though
Alavar
That's the suit haha. But still Ben Affleck gets pretty shredded for a lot of his roles.
spli2016
However, you keep failing each time and harder and harder.
Totallynotfakingit
He was also Bartleby, which is kinda like superhero, I guess.
Perkunas687
Batfleck of Batman v Superman may well be my fav Batman portrayal. I'll take heat for it, but that's okay. Kicking ass, pretty dark. Nice.
EricAndresmoleonhisleftbuttcheek
Definitely makes up for Daredevil
PhunPhact
He's a visually accurate older Batman. Not sure why people don't like his portrayal. The movie could've been written better, though.
TheScarlettStark
I SECOND THIS. I will share the heat with you. I love him as Batman. I think he has done a great job.
taylorisnotacat
I have no problem with Afleck's acting, but I do have a problem with a Batman who's TOTALLY FINE MURDERING PEOPLE WITH no explained context.
wimau
That was definitely startling, but I enjoyed reading up on it. I didn't like how they assumed we knew the comic's backstory to back it up.
andergriff
i think what happened to jason todd pushed him over the murrder edge.
DarthZartanyus
Batman V Superman is my favorite superhero movie ever and I feel like most people hate on it for stupidly arbitrary reasons.
If you haven't seen it, the extended cut of the movie was even better than the theatrical release.
Oh yeah, I watched it the day it came out. Now I'm kinda gettin' the itch to watch it again.
IcouldntfindmymedsthismorningsoItookyours
The only movie he was good in was The Accountant where he played an autistic guy
rylecx
Said someone who just started watching movies in the past year

Argo
Fredders
Definitely, I loved this movie and his role in it was very well done.
dmoore182
The Town. And he was a great batman.
vinzmomma
I think that that the pinnacle of his and McConaughey's careers was Dazed & Confused. Downhill from there for both of them.
Desaku
I'm not downvoting for the insult to Affleck. It's only to for McConaughey. You don't have to care, but it's important to me that you know.
illbethere
Haha thisssss
economyinthis
McConaughey has done some SOLID work since then. Not everything. But damn True Detective and Dallas Buyers' Club.
littleBreaker
That stripper movie
LannistersSendTheirRetards
Interstellar was good too
Can't believe I forgot that! Anything Christopher Nolan I love
nipplepanties
Still don't like him as batman
LapisScarab
Imo he plays a pretty solid and interesting character, that character just isn't Batman. None of my problems with his Batman come from him.
Widowreaper
I like his Batman. But not so much the Bruce Wayne portrayal.
DontReadMyBioPlsItsPrivate
I like him as batman. I feel he plays this interpretation very well. My main complaint isn't with him but the writing and having batman kill
His Batman is years after batman started. He realized there's a grey area.
The grey area would be "Should I kill people like the Joker who are abnormally dangerous" not "Should I just gun down normal thugs"
if they died in the process of stopping them from harming others
Except he never outright gunned down thugs. It wasn't murder it was manslaughter during a chase. Not deliberately killing, just not caring
Even then part of Batman thing is that he goes out of his way to save criminals from dying. Like in arkham origins when he stops the 1/2
Heatseekah
Batfleck is going to be amazing. Just wait tor his solo movie
I hate Affleck for the sole reason that he cheated on Jennifer Garner. Hate that man with a passion.
wadatahmydamie
Yeah, I can't wait to see how he'll use his one facial expression this time.
cyno01
If it happens, he dropped as director.
meresin2718
I think his Batman has a lot of potential. He was the only good part of BvS.
RiceCatBOI
Negative, random hallucinations of killing people? Nah, WW was best
Which part, the one where he blared Papa Roach songs while running people over, or the part where he attacked Superman without investigating
acarnivalmantra
Wonder Woman was good too, right?
No. Gal Gadot is a goddess that transcends good and bad.
SirBayleaf
Yes
IshitOnWindshields
Bvs was not inspiring
TheBlackWindHowls
Too much Snyder influence. Now, if we could get Nolan to do another Batman film...
But Affleck is a shitty actor. Perhaps the worst of his generation.
Nolan is stern about only doing the trilogy. And Bale said he would only do more Batman films if Nolan was directing. Saddddd
Not to jump on the same boat as everyone else but Snyder should not have produced it, Wonder Woman is what DC could be with a good director.
daerwyn
I don't know how much he had to do with it specifically but I could feel his influence in a number of places. Noticeable and unfortunate.
punkinface
You mean is...Wonder Woman is what DC is with a good director?
IHateYouMyselfAndEveryone
Wonder Woman was not as great as everyone made it out to be. It was okay and cinematically pleasing. Definitely not Dark Knight quality
EricReaume
meh wonderwoman is alright, but still not as good as marvel. i say this as a DC fanboi
yeah but it's a step in the right direction.
TypicallyKyle
I personally loved it. I went in with one goal: to be entertained. I was entertained, thoroughly.
ianrl337
To be fair he was only pretending to be superman in the middle one.
ExplainingTheJokeIsFunnierThanThePunchline
Technically, he's pretending to be all of them; he's an actor.

Technically correct, is my favorite correct.
CyranoDeBurlapSack
But in the middle one he's pretending to be someone pretending to be Supes. He's double pretender-man
DobbyLivesHere
I don't think you understand how movies work... you know that Marvel and DC aren't documentary production companies, right?
WumboPower
I figured New York city was just absolutely fucked.
You'd think after 9/11 we'd stop imagining new, horrible ways for NYC to be, as you said, fucked. We must like seeing the Big Apple take it.
