both are possible. We fix the saw cuts for flywheel gears in turbines, and we also do the initial cuts for the fan blades hitting .0002

Plus I think if its going to be a purely internal cut, they need to drill a small srarting hole to feed the wire through.

Including setup time, if you have an old machinist/model maker do it, it could be affordable. Those parts are not made from the same billet.

Shouldn't take that long to make. We ran some old EDM's that could pop out stuff in minutes, just compensated for 0.011" of material loss.
