It was 1AM and I was frustrated that the nebula wasn't turning out like I wanted, so it ended up in hand-smearing madness

...but nevertheless, SOMETHING began to emerge from the mess.
Hours and thousands of tiny little stars later...
Plus several coats of clear varnish...
I have a galaxy to do my homework on. Far from perfect, but I'm happy with it :)
