#4 Actually more intelligible than the average auctioneer. Though that might just be because this one has captions.

#12 Crucial difference: given the disparity in their sizes, he's possibly ruining her clothes by stretching them but she's unlikely to be ruining his.

Brittany really can sing. Nice

#6 Far Cry 3 had awesome stealth mechanics you could stealth kill one enemy take their knife or gun and use them to kill other nearby enemies it was great none of that kill one than wait around to lose aggro and repeat.

#7 What an awful thing to do to a classic truck. :(

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#7 Proof that he paid someone to restore that truck, but tells everyone he did it himself.

Oh good God, I didn't get any of the burgers wrong either and I'm Canadian, we don't even have Whataburger or Arby's

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#30 Every burger loving American can ace this test. Easy peasy.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I'm a burger loving American, but prefer my own ThankYouVeryMuch. Wendy's was obvious from the square shape, and could guess the char stripes meant Burger King, but other than that I didn't have a clue.

#24 Is that ref related to Scott Sterling perhaps?

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

that's his father, dude. He thought Scott everything he knew

#20 What is that they're saying at the end? I assume it's some sort of punchline but all I can hear is {sound.jpg].

I went to school with the Captain Hook Mach man.

#29 Thanks for clarifying

You are Philomena Cunk and I claim my £5.

#15 That's petrol / gasoline. I wouldn't be standing there filming, I'd be setting a new record for running the mile, and then I'd call emergency services because one spark and they're going to have to re-draw the street maps. A hot day, it's all exposed, and he's using water to spread it out further. I'm kinda surprised people aren't collapsing from the fumes, even being outdoors

and he thought the... fishing rod holder? cup holder? Random hole? was the fuel tank. Lovely.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There's got to be a way to salvage some of it?

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#7 How do you get so dumb? Is this a symptom of being the product of moonshine and incest?

1 year ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

#7 The board and this guy should both have a red flag.

1 year ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

What is happening? Did he try to secure the wood board with the yellow rope, by tying it to both rear wheels??

1 year ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Simple answer, yes

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah, he placed the strap hooks into his rims.

1 year ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Well, that's stupid.

#11 context (from what I recall of seeing the original video/post years ago) is that they had zero blame for the tattoo artist because the “everthing” typo was on the paper that they wrote and handed to him. “Everything’s fine” was a phrase of theirs, and the typo turned out to be so fitting.

1 year ago | Likes 52 Dislikes 0

That's exactly what happened. And she found it hilarious, it probably made the tattoo much more meaningful. That poor artist tho. Look at his face. The chagrin.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

There are not enough pixels, what does the tattoo say?

1 year ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

“Everthing’s fine” (missing the “y”)

No Ragrets

#1 This is the third variation of this video I've seen in less than a week, each in a different country... which is the original?

1 year ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

i believe this one was the original, but i prefer the asian one for obvious reasons

1 year ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

These are staged pranks in case you didn't notice...

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 7

I know, since I'm not an idiot. How is that relevant to my question? Does them being staged prevent one of them being the original?

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It has to originate in an English-speaking country because... synonyms.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yes. It was actually William Shakespeare who first compared breasts to melons. Before that, breasts were simply seen as the organ for feeding babies. Changed the world, Bill did.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Good job, master Bill!

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, not necessarily... we use the same slang here in Sweden, for example, and I assume the Danes and Norweigians at least also have the same.

But yeah, the ones I've seen were all in English, so probably true in this case.

Here's one of them: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/PgA7LaEMxvw

I think you'll agree that this wordplay is far from universal. Maybe Germanic languages share this feature (or borrowed it from English), but I highly doubt the joke would work in, say, some of the Asian languages.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think it works in Spanish too

#1 they're building the metro trains here in Sydney & at every station there's a wall with gates that open to let you in, no more edge

1 year ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Seoul has them too.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Same thing in Beijing. And then here in Berlin we have people pushing each other onto the tracks occasionally. *smh*

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In the more central parts of Tokyo these were everywhere, was pretty nice

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The recently built Elizabeth line has those I believe, but it would be a massive undertaking to retrofit the rest of the underground network.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

They've retrofit the entirety of the metro lines to have them now, and now they're here it seems wild that we didn't have them and you could just walk off the ledge and be hit by the train. Metro transit focus is dope

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I don't know how often it has ever happened, but it's probably also to stop people getting pushed onto the tracks.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah, it's just safer in general. There's now a fence between the tracks and the platform, and gates that slide open when the train arrives so you can step in and there's no danger

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I would think that also necessitates trains stopping in exact positions at the platform based on car length, and how many cars on the train. I don't see NYC doing it anytime soon as the subway system itself is ancient.
