Small Update on Hux

Hux is healthy and is growing quickly. He has lightning fast reflexes and a good sense of how to open stuff that might be interesting. Look how skillfully he opens the wooden box. I think it's pretty clever to stand on top of the lightweight box and act as a counterweight while opening the small lock.
It has become impossible to cook & eat without bribing him - but hux will steal his "fair-share" of your dinner anyway. Guess that's the worst kind of corruption. All in all the whole situation starts feeling like I am catched by stockholm syndrome.

He made a trip to the roof last week but was too afraid to come down or to explore the neighborhood. After 4 hours we started a rescue mission and brought him back on our shoulder.
Maybe his next attempt is more successful

I taught him to pick always the Jack of Hearts out of a small deck of cards. Notice how similar Jack Queen & King look. No Problem for Hux. You can see how he carefully checks out all the cards.

5 card stack this time. No problemo.
He's also learning more useful skills like finding & picking insects out of soil & grass. He is still getting flight training and shows great improvements.
