I think that the situation could have been avoided and that the airplane should not have been overbooked. The man had no right to stay on the plane when they had asked him to leave with double the price he paid. I also don't think the police were unecesarily rough and the injury was a result of his refusal to stand up properly.

Incentive was not sufficient. They offered it to EVERYONE and not one person took it. Obviously their compensation sucked.
