It's not ignorance. It's malice, weaponized media control, and exploitation of those who prefer to be told what to think.

Every accusation is a confession.

They intentionally spout both sides of every argument so they can claim whichever suits their current line of bullshit

Misguided intentions, terrible execution...

5 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

To be fair we’re spending trillions and not just billions.

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

“There is more to life than earning money”

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's the difference between fiction and reality.
Fiction has to be believable.

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's the fucking red white blue Jesus people. The people for whom faith is the refusal to use logic or powers of observation.

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sick and tired of this fucking guy,

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

"Imagine if instead of spending Trillions* on weapons, the United States spent that money on its people. They'd have a much different country." - me. .... *-yes, trillions, since trump is proposing a $1.5-Trillion defense budget which will be in the "Trillions" after 2 years.

The Distopian States of America.

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Take out Iran from that quote and man are there many countries that would fit in there.

5 months ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

Well yeah but none spend more than the US which is just insane considering some of the other countries have BILLIONS of people and the US spends more than any of them with with only a few hundred million people.

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I mean you also spend more on healthcare than anyone else, just need to get way more bangs for your bucks, or syringes.

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Every accusation.

5 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Holy shit these people are INSANE!

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

1.5 trillion dollars could sure help the American people a lot instead of sending it to a war no one wanted. Hell throw it into the social security coffers, pretty sure the government has taken from the social security fund before.

Megalomania coupled with arrogance, selfishness, and the unbelievable inhumanity of a criminal. Such an individual should never again be allowed to walk free or hold political office. Election manipulation and oppression are serious crimes and treason, if not high treason. Congress is useless if a war is instigated without its consent. All those who carry out his unlawful orders are criminals, e.g., aiding and abetting murder.

If those military mega-corps were making farming and green energy equipment instead of weapons, and their minions were not preaching hatred ... it could be a very different and better world. Tractors instead of tanks on production lines, medicine instead of ammunition, irrigation and clean water instead of bunkers and ballrooms.

Imagine if, when we filed our tax returns, we got to pick and choose the percentage of our taxes going to the various departments and agencies. The will of the people would be writ large.

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Imagine them pushing out fleets of EV farm equipment.

Or working on actually curing diseases, instead of just ways to make money on the medications.

We have the knowledge and technology. But allow corporations to instead cash in on a burning world.

5 months ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

They're not even mega-corps. The **entire** US defence industry is smaller than Wallmart. Just Wallmart.

Beating swords into ploughshares" is the conversion of military weapons or technologies for peaceful civilian applications. The phrase is from Isaiah 2:4: Many peoples shall come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths." He shall judge between the nations, and shall arbitrate for many peoples; they shall beat their swords into plowshares. Fucking christian hypocrites.

I'm a christian and I fully agree with your post. I don't try to proselytize, but if an individual actually reads the book, especially the new testament, there's no excuse for them acting the way they do. I mean, the bible even rails against hypocrites. It's a good system for living but you actually have to read it. I'd guess 80% of people claiming to be christian are even remotely trying to live by the things Jesus taught. You know, take care of foreigners, the weak, love everyone, etc.

5 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Thx. Someone once said religion is a good thing for good people and a bad thing for bad people. The New Testament has two great themes: help the poor and beware the rich. The entire Evangelical leadership has been corrupted by their love of money.

Yeah, the US is fucking joke. And about to turn 250 is peanuts to many much longer civilisations.
Congratulations, you're the stroppy teenager of the world.

Should have said "in its current state"

Trumps new health care plan. Stop covering health care.

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We can't afford to take care of our own people, and yet a billion dollars a day for a pointless war is no problem.

This is my favorite comment. Capitalism is so dumb.

5 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's not a monkey. It's an ape-a chimpanzee, specifically.

5 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Yeah, I was trying to find a a copy of the quote that was already a decent size font and couldn't be bothered to spend more time looking for one. Would definitely be better with monkey.

5 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

We are making the grave mistake of still considering them human enough to even look at what they say.
It's all absolute gibberish, not even made to justify themselves in a specific instant despite not holding any coherence to the preceding and succeeding instants; it's just cesspit air passing through rotten lips.
There's no point in continuing to show their incoherence, same as we don't waste time mocking cockroaches for not making sense. They just must be removed. It's way beyond time.

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The president of peace and of no more wars and of America first can't take care of Americans because he's fighting wars.

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How dare you insult monkeys & apes that way! Shame on you, you could've used a cow patty you know...

5 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Well you keep letting them do whatever they want.

5 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

It was all over when he led an insurrection and wasn't immediately arrested and jailed for treason.

5 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And the part where he rapes children. Pedophilia literally being normalised rn

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is enough to prove they are incompetent. But NOTHING will be done, of course. US Congress is IMPOTENT. The whole world is suffering because of these people. No one has the guts to stop them? Sheesh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5 months ago | Likes 153 Dislikes 3

Relax, people are posting in Imgur and getting angry with each other - that will sort it out

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

You're underestimating how much of the US wants this, or doesn't mind it happening. They're doing pretty much what their voters want.

5 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 6

Congress is absolutely NOT 'impotent'

They can fix this at any time.

It's not that they "can't" fix it. It's that they WON'T fix it.

5 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Congress is not incompetent, they are complicit.

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Off with their heads!

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not impotent. COMPLICIT.

5 months ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Exactly. They care about themselves and re-election as well as keeping their sponsors happy. At this point it's a sham. I do believe the system can be reformed but at the moment I have no idea what that would look like.

5 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It would look like every Republican and most Democrat congresscritters led out of the building in handcuffs. I do not believe the system can be reformed. It must be rebuilt from the ground up, with a new Constitution, new laws, a new government, new legislators, with mechanisms in place to prevent this from happening again.

5 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Just need a dozen uninterrupted seconds and a ball peen hammer.

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

not impotent, they're complicit

5 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They aren't IMPOTENT, it's all going according to plan. I'll get lambasted for this but I don't think a majority of either side cares what happens to the common man. They are there for personal gain and to get re-elected. They care about their sponsors and basically nothing else. If a politician does care, they basically try to get us scraps of whatever is left.

5 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I do, but I'm gonna need some help. For starters I don't own a gun onna' counta' I'm a gentle vegetarian so I'll need to borrow one from one of my many 2A neighbors

5 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Is no other way to sack a President in democracy? If he owns the congress and everything how is going... -can do whatever- nothing's gonna bring em out.

5 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Dc is a 'Right to Work state. Fire his ass. Fire anyone who tries to stop you.

5 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

You can tell that something is broken with the American system if it's technically illegal for them to push a war without congressional approval but they did it anyway, and congress isn't doing shit. At most it's finger and tongue wagging. They could straight up order these mfers to stop, and pull all forces out. But the system is so broken that none of that will happen.

It's affecting the rest of us in the world too. Thanks MAGA for sponsoring this bullshit.

5 months ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 0

Post that poses me off most is the military isn't telling him to fuck off either. All these generals and not a spine among them to off these traitors and be done with it

5 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

I mean, they did just fire the Army Chief of Staff and 2 other generals this week. Gotta be a reason for that.

5 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Well, to be fair most who even slightly push back are fired immediately. The system is broken, checks and balances are gone. Read some of the founding documents, especially the "Common Sense" pamphlet. It shows the warning signs, what happens when governments become corrupt, etc. I don't know that it would matter but it's a shame this isn't taught and people don't read it out of curiosity.

5 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

They COULD. Impeachment is still a thing.
But the republicans aren't interested in preserving democracy.

5 months ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

In other countries they would revolt and the PEOPLE would do something about it

5 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 3

"Home of the brave", what a fucking joke.

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They coordinated January 6 on Facebook and in the open and in broad daylight. If the left tried anything similar, there would be a crack down and it wouldn’t break the news. Selective enforcement is a bitch.
