It's my birthday today... aaaand I am at the bottom of the board for jeep tours and the forest north of Sedona is on fire, so I'm probably not going to get any tours but have to be close by-ish just in case. Hooray. While there's a wildfire on so nobody is booking tours.

42 years old today. I had honestly hoped to be dead by now when I was 17 years old.

There's only one thing I really want for today and I know it's not going to happen today, so it goes.

Maybe I'll go and do some birding on the other side of the mountain anyway this morning. I woke up in a sour helpless mood after the dreams I had, though they weren't inherently bad at all.

I mean, the headache from the wildfire smoke doesn't help the mood either.

I have two bottles, waiting. But I have a feeling the fucker is possessed by a demon and won't ever die, and when he does they'll have an AI substitute for him.

Step one to become a fossil: die.

I do not want to think, i've seen people who live that way and it seems peaceful.

Unpopular Arizonan Opinion: all heat is valid and the reason for the rise in temperature lies in the hands of people with detachable heads. Go get 'em, sport.
