Honestly? Not wrong.

Blyat!

Kept waiting for something to go wrong. Didn't go wrong. Dude knows what he's doing.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Damn, I'm impressed.

Better than I could do

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yeah that's insane. That takes a crazy amount of muscle for a 110 pound chick to do. This guy is insanely strong. Not to mention talented. Holy shit.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Ex gymnast who quit training and not the training diet. He's not a rando who found a high bar and got inspired.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I dislocated my shoulder just watching this

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

We assume because he's a little chubby that he'll wipe out. Greatly surprised and reassured when he doesn't.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

TIL, this is peak performance.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

A nice balance of post-peak peak performance I might add. A true renaissance man

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Something tells me he has had a little bit of training.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

fucking bad ass! jesus that dude is awesome!

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Dude... very impressive!

I broke my back watching this.

Three.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

This is impressive

2 years ago | Likes 1016 Dislikes 0

Its more impressive because of his size. I'm 130lbs on a good day. I'm not even close to be able to do that. Strength to weight ratio off the charts

2 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

I doubt I could even swing.

2 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

Is that Jason Bourne?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I feel so bad for his rotator cuffs

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

If he isn't on his school's football or wrestling team, they are missing out.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Wow, he's amazing!!!

We are all just monkeys in shoes

peak metal bar performance

2 years ago | Likes 573 Dislikes 13

Lot of trust in that bar! Balls of steel.

2 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 3

Bars of steel.

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Backup cables look like a good solution :)

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Those cables don't do anything for the strength of the bar he is hanging off

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I apologize if my sarcasm was not clear enough ;)

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

That very first maneuver he does (which he does again after ~9 seconds). I was a gymnast for many years and was NEVER able to do that. To this day I still can't understand the physics behind it.

2 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Physics wise: you’re trying to fold fast enough at the extension of your front swing, to convert the momentum in your backswing through the candlestick-pull(Toes-knees-hips) to driving your heels into a cast. The ending is the same as a front-hip-circle; basically impossible if you aren’t squeezing everything and then driving your heels.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It might take me a few reads to understand this, but thanks for responding with the necessary facts! I was a back-hip-circle machine, once did ten in a row, but wasn't so good at the forward version.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Oh and it’s called a Kip

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I thought so, but then thought no, that's the thing you do from laying down. Guess it's both?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ya a kip-up off the ground, and a kip on bars. Same basic muscle movements.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

...... that just solved it for me. I get it now.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's really impressive!

2 years ago | Likes 108 Dislikes 0

Ever get the impression that this is the fat kid at school who constantly got bullied...until that *one time*

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

I think he did that in High School, and still knows the moves.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yup. This isn't the same thing but I was a competitive level DDR player in highschool and a bit into college. I can still do it, the muscle memory is there. My endurance is the issue now haha. I still have the balance and can do simple footwork most people can't cause they've just never tried.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Have as much faith in yourself as this guy has in that bar structure.

2 years ago | Likes 379 Dislikes 18

I don't even walk up my stairs with that much faith in them.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Nothing about this looks wrong if you've ever seen anyone do gymnastics lol, I don't know why you're having faith issues. The solid poles are being solid and the flexible pole is being flexible. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2VnzNHWoQyE

He put mats down, further implying this is peak, as intelligence was also employed

2 years ago | Likes 82 Dislikes 0

Given his obvious experience, I imagine he knows if he's at risk or not

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Said every middle-aged man EVER just before he injured himself. I cringe looking at this dude's shoulders joints. He just killed more rotator cuff cartilage than I have left. Oof.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because he’s large?

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

My guess is that weighs less than those broadshouldered athletes as muscles weigh more than fat. He is probably way more muscled than one would guess at first glance based on his performance. Some see just chubby and then add weight in their heads.

2 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 3

Brush that guy may have some fat on him, but under that it's pure muscle... He's a heavy fella for sure.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yep, my dads a large man, I'd never call him fat though. Guy could throw me 3 metres, and I'm a 7ft tall 30 yr old

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Yeah, no. Gymnasts of this type, at the professional level are typically 60-70 kg, or ~130-155 lbs, and average around 168cm, or 5'6" tall on average . They're extremely muscular, but also very small.

If this guy is the same height, he's probably ~200 lbs / 90 kg, but if he's white male average height (5'10" / 177 cm), then he's probably ~250 lbs / 115 kg.

In other words, he's swinging around 28-92% more weight. His athleticism, considering his build, is VERY impressive.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Neah, definitely not 115 kg. I know guys with way more fat and at 177 cm, and they don't way 100 kg. Id guess he's 90 kg, if 177 cm and then he would be overweight.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

id be more concerned about his arms/shoulders
