Added in a Emergency Alert to salvage my modesty. ;_;. Finally trying on my vinyl Asuka Langely cosplay from Neon Genesis Evangelion and blew the ass out immediately. It isn't even tight so I'm not sure why it happened! I think I can repair it though.

I have this in pu leather or whatever and can confirm seams will burst. But if you find red / orange tape that matches you can slap it over the holes until you get home to restitch it. The PU leather stuff has literally 0 give.

You should demand a refund. If they ask for pictures, wear safety pants and humour their request. Most retailers will refund within 90 days for defective craftsmanship. The vinyl could have been old, stored in too hot of a warehouse so degraded and stiff. It is not your fault, the material is basically the same as that used in medical gloves and sometimes we get rotten boxes from suppliers. For future reference, nylon/lycra is far superior material for snug cosplay costumes, but needs some diy
