I don't know about that, the average price of an NHL pro stick is 250$ each and a hockey player has at least 3-6 sticks at each game

The in game replacements are all still custom. They are factory made for them, and players have minimum 3 game sticks ready at all times

No NHL (or any pro, or top level amateurs) spend any sort of money on equipment. Its all either comped by the maker or bought by the team.

Still: when you make over a couple hundred grand at a minimum a year, one stick is worth WAY more to the kid than it is to you.
