I hope I'm doing this right?

Big time lurker here, I've never posted but here's a little story;

This person I'm talking to was sad in our group chat, so being the nice guy that I am. I asked her if she wanted to chat in private. She agreed and pm me. I asked what the problem was.

She said she was gonna kill herself because their significant other didn't text them back in awhile. So as you can see up above what happens next. She did not kill herself because I talked her out of it.
