Macaw Mania - A tropical B&M Wing Coaster made in OpenRCT2

Jul 24, 2026 1:44 AM

This tropically-themed wing coaster features seven (7) inversions, and is the first to feature a cobra roll, a double inline twist, and the ever-spectacular B&M-style splashdown. The surrounding park features three (3) flat rides, a snack shop (Tropical Treats), a restaurant (Sally's Seafood), and numerous other food stalls and souvenir shops. Let's go on the full tour!

That's right... the first inversion is also the first drop, better known as a dive drop.

Big ol' vertical loop.

Zero-g roll, cobra roll, and mid-course brake run.

Splashdown! Doesn't really get the riders wet, but any unwary passers-by are guaranteed to be soaked in a matter of seconds. Or, for those in the know, it's a great way to stave off the stifling tropical heat.

Inline roll for days!

Dipping under the lift...

...and quickly hopping back over it with a twisting air hill.

A helix wrapped around some theming. Seems the macaws managed to crash an airplane into some ruins.

The last air hill over the station...

into the final brake run.

Can't forget the transfer track and storage building. Not exactly a good look force the trains sleep rough, no?

As for the rest of island, we'll go counter-clockwise around. First, the bridge onto the island.

Sally's Seafood, a full service restaurant. Best known for their crab (fresh-caught daily!)

The plaza for Macaw Mania featuring a waterfall flowing down some rockwork and real wetland plants. Makes for a prime photo spot, watch point, and relaxation area.

Spider Web, the resident Ferris wheel at the top of the park.

Buzzsaw, a Schwarzkopf Enterprise.

Toucan Tumble, a HUSS Top Spin.

And lastly, Tropical Treats, a snack and sweets shop. Mint green suits it well, I think.

A few more detail shots... Since this is a wing coaster, the queue splits, and each path goes to the respective sides (or wings) of the train--left or right.

(Buuuuut since RCT2 can't handle split queues, the left wing line is empty and the right wing line is crammed with red hats. Go figure, right? :P)

The queue and exit paths for the left side of the station.

Another angle of the helix.

And that'll do it! If you'd like, you may explore the park these high-res screenshots. (Maximum zooooooom!)
