I think the bb is supposed to be a little older and have all its shots so be careful letting people touch!
She didn't want people to touch her anyway, so all is good. Friend is familiar with taking care of baby animals, and mama cat was gone.

Don't take pets shopping. Workers end up having to deal with complaints from other customers about animals being in the store.
The store specifically states that they allow pets.
That may be, but that doesn't help the worker when they're getting hassled by other customers about allergies or cleanliness.
Yeah, fuck retail workers. Who cares if you make their day harder than it needs to be? They probably enjoy it when pets shit in the store.
