'Muricans........ I need your help
In October i'll be visiting your fair land! And driving from Orlando to Austin. Does anyone have any tips on things I have to do/see/eat/drink/avoid on the way? Anywhere a bit off the beaten track I should see? Small towns? Beauty spots etc?

Try to southern bbq place that's in the country not in a city. Can't go wrong with southern American bbq.

October is a great month to visit, temps could be 20s to 30s C. I would say: New Orleans and Johnson Space Center.

Keep to the coast, there isn't much to see though the upper mid parts of Mississippi or Louisiana.
