Been going through some shit recently. Well not recently, but for awhile now. After being homeless since January 1st, losing my girl, truck, and everything I pretty much own, I finally landed a good job and today was my first day. Got a 2 dollar raise my first day!! Celebrated by making 2 packs of ramen. Its not much but it was enough to make me smile. Guess life does get better.

Congratulations, op! I feel relevant.

I am so freakin' happy for you @OP! I just landed a steady job too after years of struggling. I hope we never forget how good this feels.

Be careful! I shot my thyroid with ramen during a particularly hard period. Those packets are full of nothing but salt

When you make that "breath of relief" that you can make 2 instead of one, turning point of taking a deep breath.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Shit!!!!!! Ramens is no joke

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

i mix one chicken and one beef, add sriracha and green onions.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sounds pretty intriguing! New to the whole siracha kick, liked it every time Ive tried it though. And i love hotsauce in general

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sounds like you lived through a country song there, op. Keep it up! You may upgrade to a packet of ramen + a beer!

As a poor person. Add bacon bits. Add an egg. Add on sale ground beef. Add on sale sliced beef. Add anything on sale you can get.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yo, you should truly celebrate and add an egg. Maybe chop up some ham, too.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Drain the water, add the seasoning, four or five drops of Tapatio sauce. The closest thing to magic without being Harry Potter.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Always a fan of ramen and hot sauce. Usually use franks red hot.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

do you put that shit on everything?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Bet your ass I do!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When they're done boiling I transfer them over to a bowl taking as little water as possible, then add the flavor packets. So, so fantastic.

10 years ago | Likes 64 Dislikes 0

I add the flavor then noodles so they absorb the flavor while cooking. Also as dry as possible

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

When I do this I like to pull a Paula Deen Special and add a dab of butter.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I dump mine in a colander. If it's the Beef ones I'll add some oregano and basil.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yep, thats how I make it

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I prepare according to directions then add an egg, like egg drop soup, then pour most of the broth out. Add sriracha and it's time to eat!

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I thought I was the only one that did that.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

i sometimes just use butter and use the flavor packets when i make rice

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Nuh, I love the sodium broth at the end. I make sure there's lots of water in that bowl.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Holy shit, I don't even boil the noodles. Boil water and poor over dry noodles, add flavoring. Extra crunchy. I know, I'm a monster.

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

I do the same.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Ramen cereal

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Man I was excited that we do the same thing! I also add the packet after transferring to a bowl, but I LOVE the broth so I make it brothy

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fry an egg sunny side up, put on top of finished noodles to make it more "fancy"

10 years ago | Likes 167 Dislikes 2

Put processed cheese on top. Sounds gross. But It works.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Green onion is pretty cheap too, dice that shit up and toss it in a few min before removing from heat. #thelittlethings

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Or add some frozen broccoli and egg to make it more nutritious :)

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Add Siracha

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0
