Has there been a recent increase in police pursuing these pedos, regardless of whether they're church officials or cops, or is this a case of it's just being reported more? I feel like just last year they would've tried to keep it under wraps to 'protect their reputation' or some BS like that unless they were POC or democrats.

Man there's a lot of pedophiles in the U.S. More than you'd think. They're all drawn to the religious positions, given they're automatically trusted by the community. Sort of funny, reminds me of when my dad worked as an accountant for a church and the flock turned against him for revealing corruption when the pastor was stealing money from his private school's charity drive.
