Was told about a scandal where married boss sleeps with married coworker. Was told my current new boss was the senior, so knows better, therefore was the prime person to blame for ruining the both marriages. They slept with each other on the work compound which is.... nope.
I don't like to judge, I don't like to gossip, due to the nature of my job, people tell me things and I never repeat it (til now I guess). I decided I will judge them for myself, and on the second day, second meeting, they are asking me about my tattoos.
This is fine, people ask all the time. But then they were touching them (my arm), and I mean, sure, it's weird. But I wonder if it's the gossip in my head making me wary, or if its a 'you shouldn't be touching someone on a second meeting' scenario.
Husband hates them, best friends hate them. It's been a fun time. Random thoughts.
TL;DR: Rumoured creep might be a slight creep in actuality.

Don't touch anyone at workplace unless you are providing first aid, formally shake hands
babycoolredhead
Why would someone touch a tattoo?? It's not a scratch and sniff. It doesn't have texture. No one has ever touched my tats to ask about them.
caldella
I've heard random rude people touching tattoos is a legit issue...in context it's super creepy, too. Major boundary overstep either way.
captainspazway
Nothing gives someone the right to touch you without asking first, regardless of the situation. Sounds like the dude is a creep for sure

Sounds like a creep. Don't need to touch to ask about tattoos. They were probably trying to guess how much lotion you'd need.
SaffronGin
I am clearly innocent. Lotion for what
SkaerKrowe
It puts the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again!
SaffronGin
Oh, I actually know this one.LOL
Cyclicus
Nobody should be touching anybody anywhere at work. The fuck, man.
xoShiseUGA
We clearly have very different jobs ? Also always ask for permission.
Humanfrenchfry
So my boss isn't supposed to be checking my prostate for 3 minutes every Friday after work?
SkaerKrowe
Not for 3 minutes. After a minute and a half, he's playing with it.

Massage therapy just got a whole lot harder.

Not to mention police, firefighters, EMTs, MMA, wrestling, dancing, martial arts instructing, healthcare, etc
Cyclicus
Fine. Beat all the black suspects you want.

Wut... My dude, I mentioned nothing about race at all. I listed jobs that require physical contact.
TravisThePusseeFartFairy
By touching your tattoos, he's already reached step E in the D.E.N.N.I.S. system (engage physically). Do NOT let him nurture your dependence
SaffronGin
I would Google but. I've never heard of this. What is Dennis used for in contexts?
FunkyFreshPup
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia! Such depraved characters in the craziest situations. It’s pure gold!
