Old mate in the blue shirt had his nunchucks at the ready and still couldn't save the fish. Coward.

I caught a 45 lb barramundi there. Fishing guide had a pistol as “insurance against the crocs, mate.”

Hey! That's my Barramundi!

What a monster! All yours, mate, enjoy..

Ok but like. The croc just swallowed a hook, and who knows how much excess fishing line will also be ingested. Wouldnt that be harmful? D:

Isn't fishing illegal at national parks?

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Can't fish from Cahills Crossing (spot on this video) with a cast net or live bait. Lures are ok though.

What a stupid place to fish. There's at least 3 other crocs in that picture, but I suppose crocs like barra too.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Screw fishing. Let’s go swimming!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's not how you catch a croc, but it'll do.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They had time to get the fish. Croc even missed his first attempt to pick it up.

Not in my pond your not

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Oh, my ex-lunch got taken by an even bigger and tastier lunch!" - the crocodile, in that case.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Unless you are fishing for crocs.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or the best place to be a fish.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It is if you are harvesting "armored" leather.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or IS it?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah I'd be cutting that fuckin line

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So that's how you catch a crock eh?

"Australia?" "Yep, Australia"

6 years ago | Likes 483 Dislikes 1

Another common knowledge thing for Australia, dont swim in Northern Territory. Crocs everywhere.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So...many... flies

6 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

As a former local, you're going to want to Google "nt news Cahills Crossing". Some wild shenanigans goes on there.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The voice at the end has an Australian drawl ... “Let him get off ... give him some line ... right here ... give it some line. Christ ...”

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And now you've got a crocodile on the hook...

6 years ago | Likes 298 Dislikes 0

reel him in!

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Croiki!!

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I'm hoping that the fish got off the hook. It would suck for the crocodile pooping it out.

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Oh, very funny, Peter Pan.

I just spat out my drink, you owe me a new keyboard

A hook in the croc

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Croc's good grub mate. Pity they're a protected species due to people hunting them for their skins up until the 1970s.

Free boot leather!

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

So, what, you just let him take it????

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Hey you want to get in an argument with that thing, be my guest...

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Sure, and it'll go something like this: "Overgrown lizard, meet big rock. Hope you have health insurance!"

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

lol you get close enough for the big rock, he lunges, clamps your calf, proceeds to death roll 10 times

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Have fun poopin out that lure.

6 years ago | Likes 131 Dislikes 0

i think i read that crocs have crazy strong stomach acid and digest a lot none organic things

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Gators aren't crocs, though. It's like comparing mountain lions to African lions, they look kind of the same but they're worlds apart

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They can digest it.

6 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 0

A ridiculous GI tract seems on par for them considering they haven't really changed in 60 million years

6 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

They can't digest it but it does partially breakdown, becoming dull and basically sitting off to the side.

6 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

They swallow rocks to help with digestion.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I know some gators/crocs eat license plates on occasion. Source: grew up around a lot of them. Swam about 10 ft from them frequently

6 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

On purpose?! Swam next to them on purpose?!?!

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

More or less. There was a net in the water and they stuck to their side and we stuck to ours. I believe its a national park

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Nooooooo, nope. I couldn’t trust gators to stick to their side of the nylon rope. To be fair, I can’t swim in lakes/oceans. Stuff touches

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Just checked. Just a florida state park.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That’s.....crazy
