Going to a funeral or visitation and encountering the immediate family, as I’m about to do. What the hell do you say that’s not cliche?

Also at the drive thru trying to arrange things and drive away in timely fashion

Putting change in your wallet is absolutely barbaric.

or maybe when the drive thru guy hands me my change while holding my food and is like: move your ass fatty! 47 tacos are heavy

Sometimes you don’t look thoroughly.

Putting my shoes and laptop in the bin at airport security while there’s a line behind me!

Worst is when the cashier starts serving the person behind you over your shoulder.

Driving towards stoplights that could change to yellow at any moment.

When I am waiting to turn right on a red light and can't get an opening. I worry the person behind me will honk at me. They have before.

Having to make a phone call.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

to make it worse, I need to put all the bills in place face side up.

"Could I have a receipt please?" Suddenly you have extra time. "Oh, and could I also have a bag please?" Bam, another 10 seconds.

If cashiers were trained how to count change back, it wouldn't be a thing. Coins first, THEN bills you uncultured peasants.

9 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 4

ikr?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Stop interacting with us like we're peasants and you might find you get the coins first...

it’s like the connection is lost on them.

What drives me batshit is when people don't have their wallet out at the register and it isn't immediately accessible.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

lots on their mind I guess...

Trying to put everything back in my pockets and tie my shoes quickly after going through TSA

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I know, some folks seemingly float through....I’m always 1/2 dressed and sweating

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I dont really have a problem with this. By no means am I a dick, but it takes me two seconds. calm down

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

The people who best handle this are elderly white or black women. They straight up don't give a fuck.

For me, it's when my windshield wipers go faster than other cars'. Makes me feel like a try hard or a whimp who's scared of light rain.

When I'm in the passing lane and the fucktard in front of me isn't passing, and isn't moving over. - NY Driver...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

is that what all the honking was about in times square yesterday or the day before?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And then there are those sad lottery addicts that shamelessly occupy the single cashier till with 30+ lottery tickets to check

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yet to see any true winners, because we all lose in these situations

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

ha HA! I do this too! So much pressure! I'm fucking hurrying! Stop looking like you're waiting on me!

9 years ago | Likes 92 Dislikes 2

Oh my god me too! Lol! I am NOT finished with my transaction! Get out my neck and wait your GD turn! Be happy I don’t pull my checks out!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

DOUBLE when the cashier has already started checking out the next person.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Too real.

Trying to say just the right thing so my BF doesn’t get mad at me.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you're so worried about exactly what to say, you may be in an abusive relationship. Please watch videos on narcissistic/emotional abuse.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Get a new bf.....

I just put the change in my pocket. I can rearrange my pocket contents later.

9 years ago | Likes 411 Dislikes 3

Everybody knows when you're "rearranging," you're really just playing pocket pool.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Why would this have down votes- you got haters brah

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thought I was the only one

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah man, back left pocket, quick and simple

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just get one of those pocket magnets to keep all of your change together.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No way, pal. That causes even more anxiety because I put my keys in that same pocket and then I fear I'll lose the change going for my keys.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If I am paying cash of any kind, it better be for beer. Everything is debit card! Unless I am abroad! It's a MEAL.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Even so. Just pulling your money out. And anxiously watching the total amount as they scan stuff, even though you know you have enough money

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

What drives me batshit is when people don't have their wallet out at the register and it isn't immediately accessible.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They always have that "it just dawned on me I need my wallet" look when they get up there too.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I often have to prompt my mum to get her purse out ahead of time if I tag along to do a joint-shop. It's almost painful to watch otherwise.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh look at this guy with his pockets! Some of us women don't get the priviledge of pockets! (this is a joke and also a cry for help)

9 years ago | Likes 172 Dislikes 4

Came here today this. You beat me to it! I am with you in your struggle, fellow pocket-less woman!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Men's pants! Oodles of pockets, and they're actually standardized so you fit the same size in most brands!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You do have pockets. If you're brave enough.

I like your thinking

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Also who started this coins on top of bills thing? That's not how cash gets put away damn it!

9 years ago | Likes 78 Dislikes 6

I hate that. When I worked at a till, I always gave coins first then handed the notes over with the receipt. Usually got thanked!

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I love cashiers that hand them to me separately.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

If people knew how to count change back correctly, they'd always get the change first. It's becoming a lost art.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I just use the bills as slide for the coins... Works out okay.
