Probably wasn't fine (it's a 944) and definitely wasn't rare (it's a 944) but still tugs on the heartstrings more than a Taurus would.

944s are getting more and more scarce, especially in the UK. Mine commands a value of £10k and I got it for £3.5k in 2013.
