My phone went threw the washing machine, put it in rice over night and it was fine

Well, I did that with my Huawei Y530 that fell into piss and it works now (yes I cleaned it first and let it dry properly)

It also hit the ceramic toilet bowl pretty hard, the white line on the phone and battery became red and it's still functional

Because rice does fuck all. If you get your phone wet, carry it to someone who can dismantle and dry it ASAP.

Yeah, on any other phone you can pop out the battery and cards and flush the water out with alcohol. For iPhone you need tools to do that
