Its not the same, but it'll do

While I was in college I played on our schools football team. It was the hardest thing I've ever done, but I don't regret one moment of it.

Like every athlete, my career eventually had to come to an end, and it was really hard to stop playing football.

I get my football fix these days by coaching for the high school that I attended.

I love doing it because it is like playing Madden or NCAA, but with live humans that have to listen to you.

I also love doing it because I coach along side my dad, and that is pretty awesome.

This year our team was undefeated, and while it is nothing compared to when I got to put the pads on and play, I still enjoy teaching the next generation to be better football players, and more importantly, better humans.

I miss playing football, but after a few concussions I would rather not be eating from a straw at 45

I too struggled with concussions through my career
