I have some #80 bits that would make that look huge.
Kr4ck4l4k1n
There is no split point on that drill bit and the flutes are not even. Git yo shet together drill but!
flyelectro8888
It's a 2 mm drill bit.
Kr4ck4l4k1n
GET YO SHit TOGETHER! We need more feet per second of penetration and closer tolerance. 0.0001" ant good enough. Park a dump truck in there!

Since we have something in common, have this +1. I like to screw dirty, too!

I thought you were talking about your microscopic drill lol...
LeSmelborpOfImgur
Could be both, however that'd bee too big for @op's mum.

I sharpen the big ones and throw the little ones away. I buy brand new bits out of the "bin" at Pawn shops and typically pay less than $1
railgap
Ditto. I still want a Drill Doctor tho.
railgap
Er well, I don't get replacements at pawn shops tho. I've never looked.
blmcdonald
That's cool and all but you can see the same thing with a bigger drill bit without the need for the microscope.
Nineteenletterslong
It wouldn't be the same because the particles in the metal would be more densely packed per pixel, so the shavings would behave differently
FancyFrance
Wrong. It'd be cooler as the drill snapped each wood fiber.
Nineteenletterslong
It's good to know that your opinion about something unrelated negates any true statement.
flyelectro8888
Wood fiber? it's metal. and there is a huge difference between this and just a bigger drill bit doing the same (triggered metal worker, me)
FancyFrance
Yea I thought he said big drill and wood. My bad.
Nineteenletterslong
Oh, I think you meant to reply to the other person, that's why I was confused.
