When the acid kicks in just as you start making out

Have you heard?

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They are adorable! Look at all the toys! Now just get rid of the mirror and offer them some sand and fresh branches and it'll be perfect.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It started out with a kiss, how did it end up like this?

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They gonna frick

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Still a better love story than Twilight.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wow. Birds can find love and I'm just single, eating celery and peanut butter

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

do they bang?

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

"Hey bb budgie, I'm not a lovebird but for you I could be ;-)"

11 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 1

Not to knock your nature documentary, but Paulie was the best bird love story of all time! #nobeastiality

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

On a side note, cute

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#13 is how I flirt. I'm the girl bird.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Seeing things like this almost makes me want a bird. But I have cats and that would just not work out.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Exactly! I have two cats and want a bird so badly, but I wouldn't trust them to not eat my bird haha

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My old 80# dog was terrified of my asshole cat. The cat was terrified of my lovebird bc he bit him on the nose once for getting handsy.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sorry to be that guy, but I'm relatively certain that her new bird is a boy. The color of its Cere (the area around its nostrils)... (1/2)

11 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Her "Boy bird" also looks like a female to me. The colour of her Cere is brown, which indicates female. If I'm remembering correctly

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It would but he doesn't have the genetics to generate a different cere. His behavior points towards a male too. I'd say 99 % certainty. 8)

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

has too much white and purple in a young bird for me to see a girl. Although it would help to know its age. (2/2)

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Don't forget that with albinos and lutinos, you can often not ever see any obvious cere colour. Males can even be bronish there, and pink.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I know. The sex is not a safe bet, for sure.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also could be a juvenile

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah, it's a young bird.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I agree with you fellow budgie lover.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Albino parakeets of both genders can have pinkish/purplish ones so it's nearly impossible to determine gender this way in those

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Nearly, but not impossible. :P I could be wrong, of course.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Boys tend to still have blue while girls have a more white cere. After they age the males stay purple and females go brown.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My adult creamino hen has a light pink/purple cere that was white/blue as a juvenile. Males are a more vibrant pink/purple in that variant.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Oh I love creamino! Congrats on a beautiful bird.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

False. Hens cere goes brown even in the albino/latino variety. Males stay purple/pink.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Well they do go brown at times (just like other variety budgies) when they're in a breeding mood.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Though color is a little subjective and does vary slightly on an individual basis. I think that's we're both pretty much right.

Planet Earth! A couple weeks ago i was watching that part on shrooms and found it HILARIOUS.. Then confusing and scary.

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Because of your username I'm picturing it hopping forwards screaming "AGGRESSIVE CUDDLES!" over and over. It's beautiful.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

hey it's what i'd do

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Are you sure it's a girl?

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm pretty sure that's a male myself. Male budgies with those colourations tend to have the pinky purple noses instead of blue.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The white one has recessive traits, making it very hard to tell the difference just going by the cere color.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had parakeets myself, blue nose is boy, peach nose is girl. Both seem to be male.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

they both turned out to be male?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There's a bit of blue on the blue ones nose which makes me believe its male.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How old is it?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fuck their happiness

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

but they're birds!

Swiggity Swooty

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had a parakeet once. She made so much fucking noise and all she did was bite the shit out of me. I was okay with it when she died.

11 years ago | Likes 115 Dislikes 23

Had one whose name was Coyote, best bird EVER. When he died, got one named Snow. What an bitey little asshole, and he lived for 12 years.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I have a flying squirrel who also makes a ton of noise and bites me. :( I hate that I will also feel okay when she dies.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

When my parakeet died, my cousin told me to bury it with birdseed and it would grow a new bird. He lied.

11 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

My mom has a sun conure and he is a gigantic asshole. He hates everyone. Especially men.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Fuck birds.

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 13

Do you have a cloaca fetish?

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I just can't LIKE like birds. My mother in law has a fucking ungodly amount...they freak me out. Tiny, unpredictable dinos

11 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 4

I visited a bird sanctuary in FL once. They had this 50 year old African Grey. Very "sociable". They let me hold and pet it. (1/2)

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

See, if it can talk to me and reason, perhaps. African Greys are cool and shit. "I love you, be good"~Alex the Parrot

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

(2/2) - After a minute or so I go to give it back to the guy showing it and the thing nearly took my finger off. Bit into my nail bed. WTF?

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I like this bird: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oe1_WfX21d0

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He reminds me of a little kid....

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Haha I got sucked in to watching all his videos, soo funny.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Did you not do any research before getting one? She was probably not tame enough to trust you, and birds make a lot of noise, genius.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

This was twenty years ago and I was a little kid. Neighbor had one and it was cool. How about you go fuck off?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Alright, so your parents did no research before getting one. Judging by your attitude, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Genius.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

From my attitude you can tell that, like my parents, I don't research before buying a pet? Or are you just bad with idioms?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Maybe I'm wrong to assume, but it aggravates me when people talk about their pet birds like they're completely expendable.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm assuming by your current attitude to the parakeet you had as a child that you, like your parents, don't know much about keeping birds.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Cockatiels are so much better behaved than parakeets. :) I had one who was very sweet and liked to sit on my shoulder.

11 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 4

I read that as shit on your shoulder.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Surprisingly she never did that! She never shat anywhere she wasn't supposed to haha. She liked to give my ear a nice bite though. owie.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That too, I'm sure.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

i have two cockatiels that had poor owners before me. now all they do is stay in their cage, and have always tried to bite if you touch them

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That describes every interaction I've ever had with a pet bird. I do not understand why people have them as pets.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Many people don't know how to keep them. They are fairly high maintenance and have specific needs that most bird owners don't provide 1/2

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

so the bird will act out to express their frustration. Just like unhappy cats or dogs misbehave. 2/2

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Aww. That's sadly a result of poor training on the previous owners part. But with a lot of time and patience, you can usually change that.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i use to try taking them out and work with them, but they never made improvement and it always stressed them out. i wish i could though.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It takes a LOT of time. You'd probably have to start with just putting your hand in every day with a treat until they learn not to bite 1/2

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I've never seen two birds going at it, I'd look at the pictures.

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

You probably have, but haven't realized it. If you've ever seen one bird fly at another that was standing still and crash momentarily 1/2

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

2/2 that's how they have sex. They just bump cloacae.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I've got a couple of doves. They fuck all the time, even when I'm eating.

11 years ago | Likes 76 Dislikes 3

I have a parrot that tries to rape my hand.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Was gonna upvote, but you're at 69, and it seemed too appropriate. Do they ever do that while you're eating?

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A year later and still at 69

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Can you film that? Would make a nice gif.

11 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 1

Nice gift for whom? Nikola Tesla?

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ahm tryin'! I'm in classes all day, so it's kind of hard to catch them right now.
