Downvote army is out, dumb motherfuckers

Respect just means you don’t say that to their face until they try and impose their bullshit on you. Then you let it fly

“We must respect the other fellow's religion, but only in the sense and to the extent that we respect his theory that his wife is beautiful and his children smart.”

Freedom of speech doesn´t mean freedom from consequences

I, for one, worship the giant invisible anus.

We wouldn't ever run out of people to call idiots. EVERYONE has one irrational and illogical belief if we dig deep enough, and calling it out only makes them more stubborn. There are better ways.

Yea, but only about the beliefs that are not common in your bubble or you will get ousted.

I feel like I have been saying “That’s fucking stupid are you kidding me?!” far too many times in the last two years.

Remy agrees

for me it is anything that goes against common sense according to human rights and equality. if you dont beleve in that go fuck yourself. i will refuse to acknowledge your beliefs, as they are why we have maga and project 2025

You respect their right to have and express their beliefs. Then you have and express YOUR BELIEF that they're fools.

4 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is what we need more of. Both against religious people who won't shut up about it, as well as against politicians who wants to take rights away.

"Fucking stupid ?" Well that's your belief, which I find stupid.

I cannot respect someone's belief that a pedophile is a great president

4 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Respect others by default, stop when they behave disrespectfully. Respect should be given at first, but once lost, it must be earned back at great cost.

4 days ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 5

I define that as civility, not respect.

Respect is only ever earned for me.

I will be polite and civil to everyone, but respect is a different matter entirely.

this right here.
Trying to explain this to disrespectful little shitwads is exhausting.

anything Patton Oswalt = +1.

4 days ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 6

There is a sliding scale for the conversation with someone disagreeable. If they are harming others or support the harming of others, then the response needs to be more urgent and strong. If it’s innocuous, like supporting the wrong sports team of choosing the wrong pizza style, then they’re just idiots.

For me, this is on par with "I'm _QuiRKy_, ya gotta love me for it!!" - no actually, more-or-less acknowledging/tolerating your quirks does not assume we love them.

Indeed. I don't respect the opinion of anyone who can look at all the suffering in the world and go "Yeah, I believe there's an all-powerful god that loves us all!"

4 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes but it's coming out of the mouth of a man who announced that a 12 year old boy in the room had the best name for a porn actor.

4 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Ugh that disappointed me so much. Loved Patton before that, but that was wayyyy over the line and he should’ve known better

Punch all Nazi's.

4 days ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 5

Indeed.

It doesn't matter if they speak further on their views; if they try to explain why they're a Nazi.

Being a Nazi is, in itself, a declaration of violence, and we must defend ourselves against that violence.

Everyone has the right to have their opinions heard. That does not mean some opinions aren't shit.

4 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

They have the right to speak their opinions. I'm not obligated to listen to them.

4 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It's simple for me. If your belief system negatively impacts other people, then pretty much go fuck yourself

You'd probably enjoy the book Ain't Nobody's Business If You Do. Great read about victimless crimes and how so many of them still carry penalties.

4 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I wish it were that simple. No one is ever the villain of their own story. Right now, people on both political extremes are reading that quote, and saying to themselves that it represents them.

"BoTH sIDeS!"

Go fuck yourself, MAGAt.

4 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I believe that Nazis deserve to die.

4 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

“What was it he said that got everyone so upset?"

"Be kind to each other."

"Oh yeah, that'll do it."

4 days ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 1

Even if it doesn't, I'm still welcomed to discuss the faults I see. You could harmlessly believe you were married to a building (people have) and i can still consider your personal delusion unhealthy
