I got down and loosed the lugs, got the car jacked up, saw the brokenness and gave it up.

hit something, fubard the lower control arm. cv axle poped out and self destructed. replace control arms, cv axle and anything else. look ez

looks like an easy fix.. remove the lower control arm. get a new cv axle, tire, and complete control arm. take 2-3 hours professionally.

The wheel is also cracked/bent and the quarter panel needs replacing too, I'm assuming.

that all looks relatively easy. to get it road worthy again looks like a few parts. or a trip to the junk yard if youre skilled

Not skilled. I can change the oil and do minor fixes... this is lightyears beyond me.
