Have a one night stand, a couple of times.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was expecting it to be a secret bee-hive.. Anyway, the Biltmore House has some furniture on display with secret compartments for jewels>>

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

such, if you ever visit you should ask about them or something.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Now make sure it's padded in there or they'll rattle and slide when a burglar raids your house while you're out.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

That was my plan, just haven't gotten around to it yet

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Im not suspicious, but I am a little spicious. - Michael Scarn

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

That's one night stand.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Would of laughed if you put something horribly ineffective like poison ivy in the drawer. Still very nice tho!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

damn. well done.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

NICE TRY NRA

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Could you build me one? I need a good place to hide my dea- my notebook.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I'm upvoting because I'm relatively sure that's a P95 in there

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yup

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

@hawks84019 What kind of stain and lacquer did you go with and how did you apply it? It is really well done and I'm curious

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I just used a regular stain, and brushing lacquer. I rubbed out the finish to 800 grit. And this is the first time I used a prestain

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't think it did much for the oak but I think it helped the pine I used for the drawers

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

is the longer/shorter piece that makes the "pin" of the box jig used for anything? Or just from using whatever scrap was close by?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nope it was just what I had, didn't think it was worth taking the time to make them the same size

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

found the american

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have the same ruger

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

ffs- if you are going to have guns, how about you keep them where they can be easily accessed by kids.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

and dont be all - i dont have kids - well im sure little people may visit your home at times

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

and dont be all - its a secret - if you think that little hands dont go through drawers, you are wrong.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I made one of these for a bong in HS. Worked great but had one crucial flaw - you had to remember to close it when you were high!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well done, human.

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

"First attempt at box joints" my ass. That shit perfect.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Thanks, but there's alot of tear out and some places aren't as tight as they should be

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wood filler and a stain marker.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How does this work? How do you open the "secret drawer"?

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Saw a video of this once, you turn the knob and it switches between the regular and hidden compartments.

9 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

Put your dick in it

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

@OP, Do you have plans for this? I'd love to make a couple.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I don't i just kind of made it up as I was doing it

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dang! Job well done though. I look forward to more of your projects! Do me a favor and document them!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

For future projects, you don't want to glue in panels. Friction fit or nail/tack at one end. They expand at a different rate and may crack.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Very nice, but for a good minute I thought you were going to pull a Krieger and tell us you added nerve gas.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Please be flame thrower. Please be flame thrower. And... It's not flame thrower.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Who hides their sex toys?

9 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 3

I leave mine out like trophies...I also always forget they are still out until AFTER my company arrives

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If I don't hide mine, he'll run away like the last one did!

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Ummm, people with kids?

9 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 2

And dogs. My wife has had two turned into rather embarrassing chew toys

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why the fuck are your kids in the sex drawer?

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Because kids.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sex guns!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

No way you could fit OP's sextoys in that drawer

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Very nice, but it is not a secret if you tell us.

9 years ago | Likes 426 Dislikes 1

They say that two people can keep a secret if one of them is dead.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The secret is in the location of the dresser not the hidden drawer.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Now he has to kill us all.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Very secret, it’s not a tell us if you nice but.

My parents have something maybe alike in my guest room side tables except the tiny "secret" drawer is on the top inside of the actual drawer

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

because it wouldn't be secret

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because you don't need it.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 7

Maybe they do. Maybe they just do it so well you haven't found the hidden drawers yet.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

my beautiful and completely reasonably costed ($700) chest of drawers has one....didn't know about it until I got it was delivered.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Link?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i'm too lazy to take a picture and post it, but similar to: http://furnituretraditions.net/images/bedroom-sets/headboard-600-detail5.jpg

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

(except in the bottom of one of the drawers, a deep one so you can't tell that there is a false bottom)

Imagine grabbing for the headboard while doin it hot and heavy and getting a face fills that.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

“How did your wife accidentally get shot in the face?” “I told you, we were bumping uglies when she hit the hatch then bam, night got weird”

9 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

"Sir but did you finish before she shot herself or during? Because there was semen and blood everywhere"

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I'm not against guns, but what kind of life do you live where this is necessary?

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

It's just gif i found. Some people just want peace of mind.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

St. Louis

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm more of the "better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it," school off thought.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Of*

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I get what you're saying but I think there are more likely factors for death that are cheaper and easier to provent.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you live in a high crime community, where you'll get your home broken into. It's a necessity, as cops don't get there in time

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

but if you live in a suburbs, there's really no need as you're pretty safe against people committing an act of B&E.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because people have that mind frame suburbs are sometimes the best places for things of that nature because they dismiss the possibility.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Few years ago I lived next to my local police station. In the middle of the night I had someone attempt to kick my front door down (1)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Statistically? Not really. Household members are only home in about 1m home invasions a year, of which only about 250k become "violent".

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Of that 250k burglars are unarmed in 61%. 8% percent of household members were injured in violent burglaries, of which only 9% seriously.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Rape or sexual assault occurred in around 3% of the 250k violent burglaries. Only 10 dead, all burglars killed by cops or homeowners.
