updootyourpootsnoot
the sad part is, this shit does 100% actually stupidly fcking happen
OldKobold
The pizza box rotated in his hands and it’s bothering me
Platypushat
they nailed the vacant expression on her face perfectly
K3rp
She could always upgrade to a salami pizza on the spot
railgap
as Mitch carefully counts her cash cuz he's no fool.
mondeca
How would they sell more pizza if they gave everybody a free one? Every new sale is offset by a free pizza, so it's a wash.
Pervaroo
That $12 pizza cost $2 to make and $4 to deliver. If they give you a second one it takes $2 more. Grand total $8, so it's still profitable.
Berrai7
I kinda wish there was a pizza guys who have extra pizzas just in case my fat ass needed more than one pizza
LetTheWorldBurnSinceNoOneFFFingCares
She's right. They'd sell way more free pizzas
TheMostModestMouse
The head tilt sells it
PeakGeekAllWeek
This sounds like the voice of experience.
DuelingBrothers
Bandai Namco, if you're listening we need a Tales of Pizza game ASAP!
JasonThorn
I remember when I was delivering back in the early 90's. "30 Minutes Or It's FREE..." became the bane of my existence.
Zappit
Ugh. THIS guy’s comic...
unmortalcrow
Former pizza guy: this was mild, but anecdotally correct, and funny +1
Medellei
If she was also handing him a credit card it would be more anecdotally correct in my experience. But I was also a driver 20 years ago.
unmortalcrow
Good call, bonus points if it's diners club card, or a paper check
Medellei
martineb72
Back in the 90s I would deliver 2 pizzas that the customer said they had 2 for 1 coupon. They didn't have the coupon, they only got 1 pizza.
Someshithead241
Reminds me of that one episode of the Office.
LegitOldSchool
Obviously fabricated, she didn't call the police or ask for a manager
doyoulikedags37
Half off $63.50
mcrump929000
I like this guy
ObiWanShalomi
Lmao "Couldn't agree more". What a line xD
katyna31415
My sister worked at a pizza place and they'd make up a pile of pizzas and go sit in apartment lobbies and sell them for $10 a pizza.
TheLeftNugget
Oh yeah, I remember this comic. The writer was STRONGLY against minimum wage increases and just generally annoyingly libertarian.
Treblaine
I've used apps like that, there's a CLICK HEEEERE TO USE COUPON! at every stage of the order.
MBinks0
I'm guessing the coupon she had was for a competing pizza chain and expired in 2011, so it didn't work when she tried to enter it
MCNewYorkLives
*skips coupon section* hey, I see you're ready to check out. Any coupons? *Skips it again* ok, so your order is 22.50. less if you used a...
wor2loc
I've been delivering pizza for many years. The number of people who ask if I have extra ranch in my 100° car is amazing.
bigblindguy
Fucking YES man, also some also act like they KNOW I do but I'm holding out on them. Like, no mate, buy your dip when you order, fuckoff.
reallynotmikepence
"Did you bring plates?" "Did you ask for plates?" "No, but I need them."
linguinepescatore
starts stocking up on the extras so when asked: "yes, plates are $2 each, utensils $3, etc,.."
necrojoe
If my only job was to deliver pizzas, I feel like I would just automatically keep extra consumables in my car. I used to deliver office 1)
necrojoe
furniture, & always keep a couple power strips in my car because they were *always* overlooked, even though they could be added to the order
halcat
Power strips are not perishable. Although they will cause problems if eaten.
necrojoe
I meant the ranch dressing, or per another comment, plates and forks. If ranch has to be kept refrigerated, then never mind that one.
unclefisty
Even ranch that is shelf stable isn't gonna last long in a car in the summer.
annonymouse211
She's way too reasonable in the face of logic to be from a real interaction.
obarey
It's rare but sometimes people can get reasonable.
swedeonamoose
ye have people who have caused way more drama for a lot less until i "agreed" to "send" a mail about her problem to hq
katidragon
Maybe she's not malicious stupid and just confused stoned.
mushroomking
No joke. Stupid like that doesn't back down in the face of reason. I've seen it too many times.
Kbantar
She asked if it was expired implying she was amenable to argument. So I'd say "dense" but not really bitchy like a lot of customers.
fnoigy
Still would tap it, though
AlkeneThiol
Ha. I agree I also like this body type
fnoigy
You will explode now
slaughterface
At 17 I was a pizza delivery guy. I knocked on the door and heard a guy yelling "COME IN! COME IN!" waited for him to say it 1/
MCNewYorkLives
Could he have been saying "come on Kim"? Just curious bc that WOULD sound like "come in" and make sense why he was confused
slaughterface
Could be. It's been about 30 years since it happened.
slaughterface
about five times until I opened the door. Some dude sitting in a recliner and was shocked when I opened the door. He was yelling 2/
slaughterface
to his wife Kim. "KIM! KIM! KIM!" She ordered the pizza and was looking for her checkbook. I don't miss that job.
BestUsernameICouldThinkOf
If the customer were always right, there would be no need for bouncers.
testzero
"The Customer is always right" is a marketing statement, not a service policy. If someone wants to buy X, you stock X, even if Y is better.

nicelyvillainous
The other full version is, the customer is always right, when they’re wrong enough, they stop being a customer.
Johannason
The customer is always right **about what they want**. Asking a taco stand for a lapdance will get you arrested.
Noobaliciou5
Well there goes my evening
Sechran
That phrase only applies to matters of taste and design: decoration, custom work, matters of aesthetics. Reality, however, is non-negotiable
skippingmyhsreuniontogetdrunkinmydriveway
Thank u!
WristDeepInaBook
they're not customers any more They're 'guests' and we're not employees we're 'team members' and this whole society can suck my team member
upfr0mhere
Sometimes the customers need to be right outside
nclu
I will simply become a customer and demand cold fusion. This will speed up development 30 years.
literallymike
"The customer is more often than not made to feel as if the bullshit that spewed from their lips is somehow not wrong on several levels."
Treblaine
You wouldn't even need cashiers they'd just drop as much money on the floor as they rightly think the good they've taken/destroyed are worth
Whatathingtosay
Upvote!
cainofdreaming
If the customer was always right all the cops would be lefties.
TheGodEmperorOfChaos
This is France, the customer is always wrong!
TheDudzzly
I honestly prefer this policy. Having to face employees who are afraid of saying no to me as a customer is extremely sad sometimes
PerpetuityPhoto
Back when I was in a call center(third tier for a major PC distributor), I had a customer who'd indignantly go on about all the things we-
PerpetuityPhoto
-SHOULD do. Many of which had nothing to do with us, i.e. specific Windows functionality, etc. I'd just let him go on. We were allowed long-
PerpetuityPhoto
-calls due to the nature of what we did. Anyway, it'd generally end up boiling down to things like "And my kids don't visit so I need -
PerpetuityPhoto
-the games in windows to work so I have something to do", etc. Dude was just lonely, so I'd let him vent.
