This has happened to my niece. We all freaked out but it turns out children can have minor seizures that make them appear unconscious.

They should teach First Aid, repeatedly, in school and at work-places. They do it were I work and that's really good.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Fun fact chest compressions should be borderline violently hard in CPR, like breaking ribs hard. Really gotta hit hard.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I mean, ribs are basically trying to do the exact opposite, keep the heart walled off and unaffected by outside events.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They are, but thats just an idea of how much pressure should be implementedyou want to bypass the ribs to force the lungs to exhale manually

Learn CPR.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What caused this? Did the kid have some sort of medical condition? Either way, good on Rowan.

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

http://dailym.ai/2AUaZmn High fever I guess

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I heard that it was a fever. They took the kid to a hospital and he/she ended up completely ok.

all that's happening is the mother walks away and the gif resets. am i missing something?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You guys. CPR. LEARN IT. Compression over breaths. Especially for a child!!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

I'm not crying, you're crying!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Well, time to ask that kid what he saw in the 90 seconds

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I am 0 for 1 on my CPR success.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

As a paramedic, I was never able to bring anyone back (mostly geriatric and trauma arrests), but I kept thousands from dying.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I believe mine had a heart attack. I worked on him for a while until the paramedics arrived. Afterwards I only saw his obituary.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Goodness :(. I'm so so sorry.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ok, am I seeing something different here? I see no CPR or hug... just her bringing him in and then leaving. Anyone else?

Just a woman dropping off an unconscious kid at the counter and leaving the store, NBD

8 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

Can you do just one gif? It's so annoying

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

"she went outside to get the father" I thought she just left

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Man, dad was in straight panic mode (can't say I blame him). So glad a few people were able to keep a semi clear head.

I was about to start working on a guy with no clue what to do when a coworker that's a firefighter happened to ride by.

8 years ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 0

I wasn't scared to try, I was scared to feel someone's life leave their body though. I was still on phone with 911 when he pulled up

8 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

My brother was 2 and choking and went unconscious and my dad in a panic threw him down the stairs. Brother coughed out the ball and was okay

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Kinda close to my experience. I was 16 ish and started choking on a jawbreaker while playing video games. Jumped down the stairs (1/2)

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

After a moment knowing the noise would alert for help, and that my mum was somewhere down there. I survived, but damn, the trauma. (2/2)

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Is this giff clip longer than 15 seconds, because all I can see is the part the child is brought to the desk, nothing else

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

And THAT precisely is why I'm studying to be an EMT

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That bit made me tear up

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

This is why its important to learn cpr. Seconds matter and ambulances can only get their so fast.

8 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

there*

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Sometimes health insurance will actually refund the cost of the course.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Always take a moment to remember the ABC's when someone is unconscious

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's actually now CAB, airway and breathing are now not as important as circulation.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That could be confusing because in sales ABC means Always Be Closing.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In social media it's Always Be Checking

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

OMG...just watched the video in tears

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hey, news writers? I know you're pressed for time, but don't refer to an unresponsive person as "unconscious". Sincerely, a former editor.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

What's the difference? Thanks!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

well i mean, it -was- the daily mail

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh, I didn't realize that. I guess I should have addressed that comment to monkeys with typewriters.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Damn that hug at the end, the feels

8 years ago | Likes 614 Dislikes 4

You can see the pure emotion in that hug.

8 years ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 0

The feels are real.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That dude just saved his kids fucking life.. like how seriously real is that? Imagine it was your kid... what a guy!

I'm crying and you're crying. We're both crying.

8 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Yep

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why are the images removed? Someone please help explain what happened to a late comer!

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I didn't get to see it either

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You are a hero!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

hey, this I like. were are the good people ?

8 years ago | Likes 172 Dislikes 1

We are all around you. Most people are just too busy to notice.

8 years ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 0

Always get chills at this line.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Most people are good. Most self-proclaimed ”good people” aren’t.
