Man... I don't understand people who either risk others like this or don't just put their cart away properly. I grab a cart from the parking lot to make it one less cart for workers to bring back in, wipe the handle down, and when I am done I try to stack/nest it with others in the coral. I even bring nearby stray carts to the coral with me. Why does no one have compassion anymore...? Plus, why would you EVER risk injuring/assaulting someone random like that? I don't have money for a lawsuit. :/
I think you wildly underestimate the animosity average people have towards retail workers... Hell, I know a pretty significant portion of the population would convict simply on the principle that the poors need to know their place. And FSM forbid the worker was black...
