The recipe,for decent fried chicken... loosely. 1 quart buttermilk as a bath. 2-3 tbsp salt, 1 tsp turmeric, hot sauce, go for it. Garlic and onion powder, go for it. Let it do 24 hrs time. Pull, rinse, dry, egg, batter, spray batter with water to make it clump, batter again. 310 for 15 minutes regardless of cut.

25 years ago i had lunch at the cb in lincoln illinois, was traveling for work. got called to a job before i could eat- so i just ordered a burger to go. i didn't even know cb had cheeseburgers. never found time to eat, so i ate it the next morning in my truck- it'd been out there all night and got cold. welp- that leftover burger was absolutely delicious-somehow the veggies were still fresh the meat was charcoally/cheesy. top 3 burgers in my life. i always forget to go there and try another.
The last times I went to eat with my great grandma... no... not one in my area. I maybe saw a few Latino people. And all the front facing staff was white too. All I was think was "damn the name is literal now?"
It’s a whole series/channel. Takes black friend to Whole Foods and a frat party, takes white friend to barbershop and “buy friend chicken and drink 40s”

I would suggest adding pickle juice for the soak, and black, white, and red pepper for the spice, save the hot sauce for later.
