NJ Trout in the Classroom Program (update)

My AP environmental science class and I are raising trout in our classroom. In October we got 300 trout eggs that we have been raising all year and will release into the wild in May. We still have 150-200 and they are getting big!
Unfortunately that means they make more of a mess in their tank. It got really bad this week and we have had to vacuum about 6 times to keep up. The person at the hatchery also told us to stop feeding them for a bit until we can get the tank better (it’s ok they can go 14 days without eating). This one got hungry and ate a smaller one which is pretty normal for fish but still pretty crazy.
