One of these angry noodles showed up in my neighbor’s bathroom. We’re in the same building. Help.

Stop harassing animals

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

"I'mma heck you" - noodle prolly

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Well, looks like you started it.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Pffft, I've had worse noodles. Noodles & Co. is the only place with spaghetti I find unedible. They had one job to do!

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Is it a green vine tree snake?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

Who's gonna add those squiggly arms??

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Throw a PokeBall at it

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Tree snakes are always very easy to upset, black snakes and rat snakes I could always pick up without getting bit as a kid. Now I don't

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Often mess with snakes. Hell when I was clearing brush one fell on my shoulder and not sure which of us was more freeked out

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Reminds me of a green racer. Those things are mean little buggers, and not afraid to attack...Harmless as all hell, though.

4 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

No relation to speed racer though right?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Can't feel their teeth at all.

4 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I got faced down by a blue racer. The only one I've ever seen. I wanted to get close, the closer I got, the higher up it raised. It won.

Any snake that would turn and face off with a human that fast might well be more dangerous than he looks. No camo, no playing dead, no guff!

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Yeah, pretty sure it’s a mamba. Possibly a black mamba (named for the color of the inside of their mouth).

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

It's not. Mamba mouths are black, head is coffin shaped, and green mamba are arboreal.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Babies and juvenile black mambas start off lighter (olive green-grey) and darken with age—doesn’t apply to mouth then? Just shadowy?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

The mouth is one of its primary defenses - a sign to back off before they bite. So babies have black mouths from the get-go.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Gotcha

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's not angry, it's terrified.

4 years ago | Likes 290 Dislikes 10

For reptiles, there's really not much of a distinction.

4 years ago | Likes 96 Dislikes 2

The world is a scary place when you're a noodle with a head.

Suffering leads to hate. And hate is the path to the dark side.

It’s ackchyually anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering

4 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Dang. That one’s on me. And I even have Yoda looking at me right now. I bet he’s disappointed

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Which is arguably the same.

Fear is the mind killer

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

At least that’s what my therapist would have me believe!

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Arguably the same in relation to us, in that both an angry or scared animal may lash out. Doesn’t make them the same thing overall.

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Reptile brains process very differently. There might be no distinction to them. "Thing is close. Bite it."

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'm angry when someone ate my grilled cheese sandwich; I'm terrified when the someone is a bear.

4 years ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 6

Idk i get excited about people who are bears ;)

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Kind of bonkers to me that you had to explain the difference between the two

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

*slowly backs away from your sammich*

4 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

How the TF is this so strangely and appropriately contextual?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What species is that?

4 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

A young Smooth Green Snake. I just saw one the other day, apparently their babies hatch in the fall.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

snek

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I would also like to know.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opheodrys Looks like a green snake to me. I see some people saying garter snake, but that's not the case.

4 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Not a garter. At least not like any we ever caught.

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I think we can rule out King Cobra

4 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

When they’re that size, they’re called Prince Cobra

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Friend said mamba. And guy is stupid to piss him off. (friend is Big into snakes)

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

I agree. Looks like a mamba (named for the color of the inside of their mouth) so this could be a black mamba. So… fuck around and find out.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 6

The inside of this snakes mouth isn’t black and black mombas aren’t this green. Could be a green momba.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

It's not. Mamba mouths are black, head is coffin shaped, and green mamba are arboreal.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

*black mambas mouths are black, hense the name. green's aren't very black(just google pics). Lots a green snakes, hard to tell what this is.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Angusticeps and viridis do still have dark or grayish mucosa, but more importantly the coffin shaped head and are almost never found on >>

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

>> the ground. Given their distribution, head shape, mucosa color, and general behavior combined, this isn't a mamba. Likely opheodrys sp
