So there's this game...

Carnivores HD, now known as Carnivores: Reborn

To quickly summarize for those who might want to skip over this, it's a dinosaur hunting simulation game, a spiritual successor to the classic "Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter" games.

It features intelligent AI, realistic weapons and very detailed environments with multiple weather and time conditions.

It's very beautiful.

Years of work was put into this game. All put together by a small team of people, (2 developers, IIRC from a personal email with them!)

Now you see, the problem...

...is that you may not have heard of it.Lot's of people no nothing about this games existence, which is sad.
The game has been released via Playstation Store, since September 2013. I never knew of its existence until New Years day, 2014, after seeing it being streamed by UberHaxorNova. :P

If you're a dinosaur advocate like me, you'll be all over this.

The game is set at a rather cheap price. Only $12.99 CAD. If you have a liking for these prehistoric animals, try the game out when you can.

You don't even have to hurt the dinosaurs!

You may select the option of using tranquilizer rounds, instead of actual bullets while hunting! Tranqs are set to default, GG devs!

Although, the game only has 3 maps...

Each are massive, and have multiple settings, which allow you to hunt in crazy weather conditions, or at times of the day at which different types of dinosaurs would be active.

Anyway..

The point of this post;

Is to bring attention to this work of art. For how much work has been put into the game, it's received nowhere near as much publicity as I think it should've.
Recently, (around September last year) the game developers announced a PC version of the game, and started a Kickstarter, which unfortunately failed, raising only about a third of the funds. This has led the devs to cut planned things from the game, as the small team just doesn't have the funding to (currently) put everything in.

So I ask you this, Imgur, please try to spread word of this game. It's creators deserve a surprise upon the PC release, which supposedly will be May 25th, this month.
