Fun fact: All octopuses (or at least most) can actively change camouflage. Mimic octopuses are weird because they emulate other animals.

Sharks need to continuously move and many cannot be flipped upside down. It's called tonic immobility.

Most likely it just keeps it from moving. Sharks need to stay on the move or they will drown.

i think its only "old world" sharks that risk drowning if they dont move constantly? otherwise theyre fine to stop for short periods of time
