TBH as a guy that likes big chubs, I liked the before pics. But still, congrats on the weight loss!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What were your weekly weight losses like before you introduced crossfit?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They were pretty steadily around 2-3 lbs per month. I also think I'm a good user of ketones though so hard to say. Everyone's different ☺

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That is really amazing! Great job. I started Keto in January and down 18 lbs. also taking exogenous ketones in the form of a drink.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Looks like your skin has rebounded well so far and the remainder should tighten up again too. Hit the weights to keep it going! Lookin good!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ya I'm feeling pretty lucky that or rebound that good. Hitting the gym hard now too. Pumped

Reminds me of drawing pictures on a balloon and how much fun they are when the balloon expands... Well, anyway, congrats on the weightloss !

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Can you tell me how you prepared for the body you had at the start? I need to take your journey in the opposite direction.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As in the before photo?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yea haha, i gotta gain weight sadly

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Good job, OP. Now, time to get rid of those fat shorts in the second pic!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ya they're gone. Hahah. For some reason you like to hold on the things just in case right? Haha

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Did you work out on top of it? I did keto, had great results but got major headaches from not enough carb intake

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I did yes, the first little bit I started with some weight training and took it easy until my body ran efficiently on keto then upped it

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Good job keep it up

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thank you!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They say coconut oil helps with stretch marks

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ya I basically use that shit for everything haha. In my drinks and on my body haha

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Before weight loss I'd be scared to fight you in a cage match, now not so scared

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can't do the keto diet, I had a personal trainer who insisted on it once and I just felt sick all. the. time.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Especially when it was 'carb day' and I'd 'binge' on carbs and have a super big work out the following morning. My body was so unhappy.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And honestly it's not going to work for everyone ☺

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ya I don't blame you if you had to have a big carb day. Makes it super hard to run efficiently when you keep switching fuel sources

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My fiance and I just started Keto about a week ago. So far my energy levels are through the roof. Shit like this makes me excited.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I'm so pumped for you guys!!! Congrats! It's the best lifestyle I've come across yet

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So is keto very much like paleo?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Keto is not much at all like paleo. A lot of "paleo" foods are good for keto. But my go-to snacks are cheese, nuts and bacon.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Keto is a minimal sugar, low carb, high fat diet. It trains your body to start using fat for fuel instead of carbs/sugars.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Since your body stores a ton of fat from things like sugar and carbs, your body has a TON of fat to consume and burn.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's basically a very low-carb paleo/primal type diet.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Not even remotely close.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's my experience. What's yours?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

So while "not even remotely close" was clearly hyperbole, there's pretty big differences.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Tons of diary. Also legumes. Anything with a respectable ratio of carb:fiber. Also shit loads of pork rinds. The goal is <20 net carbs/day.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lookin good

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Congrats, you look great now. I'm jealous of you, I don't think I can keep that up for long, but it's worth the try.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Don't think of it over the course of years, think day by day. One day at a time ☺

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You're absolutely right. I'll show myself I can do it. Cheers.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Good job defatting there mon frere.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Thanks so much!!!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Keep it up. Lean out. Make gains.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Totally! I want to lose another 20 lbs, then start adding some muscle

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fuck yeah. I'm in the same boat. Striving towards that glorious bulk.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Haha a lot harder to lean gain then I thought it was. Pumped to see results tho

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nice tats looking good brother keep up the good work !

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

KETO

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Thank you so much!! I started doing Nutritional Ketosis. Only thing that's ever worked for me

9 years ago | Likes 82 Dislikes 1

Is that different from typical or cyclical ketosis? (TKD, CKD)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Where did you start looking for meal plans and stuff? I'd love to know some day-to-day meals

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

www.reddit.com/r/keto for almost everything I've learnt. Hope this helps ☺

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How do you up you're intake of fat without gaining weight?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Good fats are not the enemy. Refined sugar and carbs are

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I'll have to give it a shot. I also started at 320. Wanting to lose 100+

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I would definitely recommend it. Worked wonders for me

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Coworker of mine did that and in 5 months dropped 66lbs. Gonna start the same program reel soon

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Nice! Happy for you! It's a lot of fun and has a lot of great options for food!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Did you have particular recipes you liked? I started two weeks ago and I'm running out of ideas on what to eat.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Damn proud of you

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thank you so much!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Would you recommend it to other people? I'm looking for ways to lose some weight after I have my baby

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's the only thing in good conscious I could recommend. Only because it's the only thing that's worked for me

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That being said, it doesn't work for everyone. But if you feel food, and enjoy the food, that's all that matters ☺

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thank you, I'll definitely give it a try! You look great btw! C:

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thank you so much!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What does that even mean?

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

U trading your body to eat fat

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

so... you sell your body to eat fat?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

so... you sell your body to eat fat?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

so... you sell your body to eat fat?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes. Cash for fat.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

think of the akins diet in a tl;dr sort of way. Very low carbs and sugar, higher in fat and protein and veggies.

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 2

I couldn't do it because of the fats. I'll stick to low carbs, no sugar, and just eating vegetables and health meats lol

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 7

High fat is part of the diet, gl without

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not sure why you got downvoted for saying you couldn't do the high fat part of the diet

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Isn't that what he just said?
