It's also apparently the overall weighting. The left fork balances the gears on the back, which are on the right. Also it looks awesome

Still thinks it's mostly gimmick. No other company bothers with lefties and probably for a reason. Never seen it used in comp either.

It surprisingly doesn't. The reinforcing needed to support that one sided axle makes it heavier than traditional racing forks.

Depends what you have done. I had an open discectomy and decompression on my lower discs.

I'm 31 had discectomy for L5 and L4 plus nerve decompression. Not as severe as yours but I'm looking at it as a fresh start.
