I have a spare tank of 60x40x40 cm and would really love to have a lizard. I already have a corn snake and a mexican redknee tarantula, so i have some experience with exotic animals. I'm looking for a lizard that doesn't require a bigger tank in the future and that needs a dry environment. I plan on providing it with a heating pad and a uvb lamp. My question for you is, which types of lizards would be good for this? (Oh and it would be great if they are friendly to handle too, but not a must)
Also template cuz i just thought it was a cute bearded dragon

As cool as i think they are, i don't have the equipment to care for them. But who knows, maybe i'll give it a second thought.

Leopard geckos are fun little guys that don't even need a uvb.

For a hot, dry environment I'd suggest a uromastyx, however, your tank might be too small, even for the smaller ones (1/2)

Honestly, I'd endorse a leopard gecko, or maybe an African fat tailed gecko, they might need misting, but a spunky little sweeties! (2/2)
