I don't care how old I sound

Aug 7, 2016 3:06 AM

Grass is difficult to maintain. I'm trying to sell my house so it matters what the lawn looks like. Crab grass grows out of nowhere and there are a ton of other things to think about when trying to get a good lawn. All those old people who complained about me when I was on their front lawn... I get it

Roughly around 28 is when anti-puberty begins.

Hate crabgrass? Prodiamine applied in late winter/early spring will do the trick!

Back in my day, we didn't go online to tell kids these days to get off my lawn!

I'm a lawn and I get 32 when my teenagers are only upset

You don't sound old. You sound reasonable. Teenagers are scary.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm 30 and I agree with you. Teenagers just irritate the hell out of me.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I never understood until I owned a house. I hate people going on my lawn.

You care way too much about something so rudimentary as grass.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

30 here. I rage when kids skate up/down my driveway. Not an age issue, it's my private property and they think it's a public park.

Where in the hell are all the king of the hill gifs at?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My yard is elevated from street level, with a little stone wall along the side walk. Kids leave shit on it all the time and I hate it.

I'm 23, don't even have a lawn, and I'm angry too

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Trespassing is some serious shit man

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm 28 and don't like teenagers/youths on my property because most of them litter.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

At least you own a house

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Grass is not hard to maintain. You do all the things plants dislike to the lawn and the only thing that survives is grass.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why the fuck are they on your lawn? Don't you have a fence?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

32?! Jesus man, you're like, almost eligible for AARP.

Better to be over the hill, than buried under it.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I hope so. They (we) have awesome benefits.

Let's watch Matlock together.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

back in my day matlock had new episodes. [scowls agedly]

I'm 29 and fuss at kids who come onto my lawn. It's actually zeroscaped, so I fuss just to be fussing. PUT THAT ROCK BACK YOU LITTLE SHIT.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They should understand that catching Pokemon isn't as important as your lawn management.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

my beef with kids is that they throw their trash all over my lawn when they cross it https://media.giphy.com/media/yWamjwFip2KZ2/giphy.gif

I'm 19 (kinda young to be bitching), but I fucken hate that too. Lazy and disrespectful as fuck.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Get a fence? Or maybe a moat would be more fun.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I've been contemplating bolting a trash can to the tree in my yard so these fuckers stop throwing trash all over the place.

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Knowing how the universe works, they'll just throw it under the trash can instead.

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Most will actually throw the thrash in the can, but some douche will come and empty it on the ground just for shit & giggles.

I'm 25 and I had to think about my age for a second when someone asked me yesterday.

10 years ago | Likes 58 Dislikes 3

Oh I'm 16 and it happened last week. Don't worry, you're not getting old, it's human. (Or I'm just an idiot)

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

possibly both.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Probably

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Last week I thought I was 35, nope. 33. I dunno.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I literally question if I was 22 or 23 the other day because I don't really remember "being" 22. I confirmed I'm 23 if anyone wanted to know

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

i haven't cognitively "been" a particular age for a while now, time just keeps dragging you forward while you fail to accomplish things...

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Well, that sounded painfully familiar.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

U ok?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah i hit the age where after 21 you don't give a shit about how old you are.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Why is anyone on your lawn? It's your private property man, be as defensive about it as you like!

10 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 3

Out of curiosity, would it seriously be legal to shoot & kill kids for loitering on your lawn in the US?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

In most states you need a clear and present danger to warrant use of lethal force. Not sure about states with Castle Law.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yep, Castle Law here. I don't shoot to kill though, just to maim. Can't step on my grass if you ain't got no feet.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh OK. With castle law you don't have to retreat first. Still need a threat to justify lethal force.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ok! Thanks for the info, my actual knowledge of US laws is very low, and my only defense is that I don't live there.
