holy crap that was close.

8 years ago | Likes 261 Dislikes 0

that kid is a fucking dumbass

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

I can almost hear the trucker screaming “You dumb sonofabitch” from here.

8 years ago | Likes 61 Dislikes 1

He most likely yelled: JÆVLA IDIOT! Since he's Norwegian..

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Could’ve been a Swedish trucker. Then he’d have yelled ”Jävla Norskefan!”

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A Swedish trucker in Norway wouldn't have stopped.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Love how the "pink lady" just goes "welp he's a gonner, no point now, y'all up for pizza?".

8 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 0

Then the "Oh shit, he's alive!" reaction at the end.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I needed you to say this.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

I am that truck as a courier in London 6 days a week. LOOK BOTH WAYS BEFORE CROSSING PEOPLE. Its basic.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That kid has probably been told that a thousand fucking times. It's so fucking frustrating to try to get kids to be non-suicidally-stupid.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

yeah ofc, just forgot it..

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

I don’t understand gibberish lol

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

but it's just norwegian...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Aka something i do not speak

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Someone went to the Prometheus School of Running Away From Things.

8 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 3

Someone is a Cinema Sins fan

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Looks like it actually helped here though, he/she would've gotten hit if they didn't run away, although if this wasn't a volvo they'd be ded

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

*Ding*

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Volvo have done some clever stuff with truck brakes lately. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ridS396W2BY

Bravolvo

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

thats one stupid kid

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fuck. Second kid didn't even look at first kid, she's like, "he's gone I guess"

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

She is also holding a third kid to make sure she didn't get hit either

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Wat. That's a sweater.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Fuck

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I read a book about this once. Truck didn't stop. Then shit got cray-cray.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Pet Sematary?

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

It's that damn road

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Scandinavia has many bus routes like this on tiny fast roads, teach (most) drivers to go slow near buses for exactly this reason.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Look how casual the guy in red walks back.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

People have regressed to the intelligence of a squirrel.

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 2

A squirrel would have at least done a meaningless juke the other way

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It's kids man. Nothing in the 600 million years of evolution of the brain has prepared us for giant hunks of metal flying at us at speed.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Where I from they drill in the whole look both ways thing pretty early.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That kid has probably been told to look both ways five-thousand times. My kids, my neighbors kids hear it every day, and they still don't.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I wanna slap that stupid kid over the head. They're old enough to know to be cautious and look both ways.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It`s from Gol in Norway. The bus driver runs past the bus stop, and stops further up the road(not a bus stop) to drop off the kids.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Who's the dumbest little shit in all the land? YOU ARE, YES YOU ARE

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I wouldn't have survived the ass whooping my mom gave me after. In the hospital like what happened to him. He almost got hit by a truck.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Damn if i was that parent i would whoop that kids ass

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Someone's gonna get a good whoopin'

8 years ago | Likes 285 Dislikes 12

God damn better! Needs to learn it's not just your life at stake when you are that stupid

8 years ago | Likes 67 Dislikes 6

La Chancla is very effective.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

I’ve never hit my daughter & she’s 23yo now... but if she did this?.. I would kick the shit out of her!!

8 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 6

he better, what a fucking dumbass

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

" Oh good you'er alive! Now I can beat you half to death myself!"- My mom if I was that stupid.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Whoooooo good ass beating

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Beating children is not only barbaric, it is also exclusively harmful with no benefits. There's a reason we don't do it anymore.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

My mom would’ve been like, “you’re gonna wish that truck hit you when your dad gets home”

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Lol, that's when you know you fucked up

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And the jumper cables gets untangled.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

"Go outside and find a switch"..."nope, not good enough, go back out and find a bigger one"

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In Norway we learn with experience rather than fear.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 10

Someone’s gonna experience a whoopin’.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 6

Maybe if this was in america or some other barbaric country

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 6

Both of them. That truck driver broke both the law and the common fucking sense. Which is not surprising tbh. They don't care.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 59

.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just a tip: be aware of the possibility that this video did not originated in the US. Welcome to the INTERnet, matey.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Doesn’t look like he broke any laws. The bus was moving as he went to pass.

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 2

(2) probably Dolomites or Alps, he is supposed to slow down in such case on such road.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 15

Its Norway, bus driver missed the stop and decided to stop further down the road. Truck didn't break any laws.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Bus just started to move from after the stop. He saw it stop, given the shape of the road. He didn't slow down, it looks like western EU

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 10

Google said Vg TV is a Norwegian channel.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

There's no crosswalk here, even "dividers" or w/e they're called separating the road. Driver did absolutely nothing wrong.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A lot of anger about laws and stuff here, let me clarify. This is Norway, truck driver did not break any laws. There's a sticker and (1)

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A warning on the bus telling people to NOT cross the road until the bus has left, both the truck and the driver did an amazing job (3)

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This was pure stupidity on the kids behalf and we're all happy that no parent had to go their kids funeral

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

No, we don't beat our kids here in 2017.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 7

Might explain the state of society these days

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 9

It really has. Beating children has been proven to induce anti social behavior and limit cognitive and communicational skills.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Spanking and beating are pretty far apart. I got smacked as a child, my cousin got beaten with metal rods.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Spanking is for sexy time. Beating a kid is wrong, regardless.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

From who? Both trucks drove off and its kids that got off the bus

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 10

No matter what, the kid should not have just started running. Grounds for ass whooping.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Only ground for ass whooping is if they whooped someones ass.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

I am still baffled at how quickly the truck stopped. Magic!

8 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

If that truck had pneumatic brakes, it has 0,5 second delay before the brakes hit. I know that that is the longest 0,5 seconds you can have.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

this a school bus? if so this country could learn from america. our buses have lights and stop all traffic until the kids are off the road

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 6

Do most nations even have school buses? We just rode the normal bus but with "school" cards so the fare is free.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm starting to think that safety laws cause an overpopulation of stupid people.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 4

It's Norway, we try to teach kids avoiding this kind of thing in the first place. And most do. the others... well, you can't save em all.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

I like things this way, we learn to pay attention to the surroundings, not expect everything will work out just fine

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

1. this is not a school buss 2. We force «DONT CROSS THE ROAD BEFORE THE BUSS HAS DRIVEN AWAY» down childrens throats

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

/2 and every buss has a sign on the side that tells passengers to not cross the road before the buss has driver away

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

good to know that they try to protect kids more than that. basically this kid was trying for a darwin award

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

the video also shows whoever is filming this is honking like fucking mad.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

They did the movie thing where they dont just jump out of the way and I have to yell at them through the screen

8 years ago | Likes 97 Dislikes 2

Eh, he didn't look so didn't see it. The distance he ran away from it was shorter than the distance to get to either side of it.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 11

looks like he could have been hit if he kept his course without running away

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yep. Despite what people assume, their reflexes are nowhere near as good as they think. And instinct hasn’t adapted well to technology.

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

JUST JUMP THE GODDAMN GUARDRAIL YOU TWAT. Also, don't run out into the fucking street.

8 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 0

Maybe the kids tired of living. Who knows.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Eh, let's see how well your critical thinking skills are when you're a child and there is a multi-ton truck barreling down on you.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 5

he's the kinda dude to watch animal documentaries and criticise animals for making poor choices.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dear Americans commenting on this gif. There are other countries with other laws than the United States. End of PSA.

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 8

god their "WHY NO STOP LIGHT BLOCKING TRAFFIC FROM BUS??!" comments are annoying.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 5

Sarcasm?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

No, they are legit annoying. We got our rules, they got theirs, we don't need to hear about how School buses or buses behave in the US>

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

We /know/, and apart from this retard kid, most kids are smart enough to wait for the bus to pull away before crossing the road in Norway.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What a stupid kid

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thats a good advert for volvo. I watched a documentary on amazon prime about that truck. Its got a ton of saftey features....

8 years ago | Likes 324 Dislikes 2

Looks more like a scania

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

It's a Volvo. You can tell easily by the design of the headlights

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That's a good advert for amazon prime.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What was the documentary called?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Stop That Truck

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

That was all the truck doing the braking i reckon

8 years ago | Likes 53 Dislikes 2

The driver in the truck filming this, blink to alert the Volvo driver.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I found it in my watched list, The program was called "High Tech Trucks" on Amazon Video.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Amazing reactions from driver, amazing computer assisted braking to keep the whole rig stopping that fast on a slight curve.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Trailer brakes did a great job. Otherwise it would've swayed to the side.

8 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 0

I think he meant that the truck has an automatic breaking system that senses when someone is out in front.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Well if that's the case it's awesome

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

It's volvo, whatever opinion you may have of them. They're world leading in almost every safety aspect.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Isn’t traffic suppose to stop when a school bus is dropping off kids? And isn’t the bus driver supposed to wait till the kids cross any road

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 10

In Norway you are supposed to wait for the bus to drive away before crossing the road

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

If not stop, you're supposed to be paying extra attention and slow down. He would fail driver's licence exam with this stunt

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 6

No. People are supposed to wait until they have a full view of traffic before they begin crossing the road.

8 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 7

It is most likely not a school bus but a regular public transport line bus. The yellow numbers near the roof are the line number.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It’s Norway and that’s a regular bus, not a school bus. Kid was a dumbass running out from behind the bus, but he won’t do it again

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Doesn't look like there's any reason for the kind to be crossing, they're in front of the driveway. And the bus was moving so traffic can go

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Only US school buses have that stop-sign thing. Elsewhere it's the kid's responsibility not to jump on the road from behind a bus.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not in my country.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Ask a question and get down voted for it. Figures.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It`s from Gol in Norway. The bus driver runs past the bus stop, and stops further up the road(not a bus stop) to drop off the kids.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

My third grade school mate died exactly like this. I'm just glad I wasn't there to witness it. Heard the stories from the ones that were.

8 years ago | Likes 667 Dislikes 2

Same, but 7th grade.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

My best friend watched his cousin die like this. Crossed the street, got hit by a truck doing 50 in a 25.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I saw a woman crushed by a truck. It was not pleasant, to use a bit of British understatement. It's the sounds I remember most vividly.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A buddy of mine got hit by a truck because of this. He got SUPER lucky and the backpack abosrbed most of the impact so he didn't die.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My nana saw it happen to a kid, his head just popped apparently, caused her to go into early labour with my aunt.

8 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 0

Like... on the spot?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Your Nana gave birth to your aunt?!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 14

How... how else would it happen?

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

My grandmother gave birth to my mother's sister yes.

I may be a jerk, but if he did for EXAXTLY like this then he had it coming, just like this person did. Act stupid, then deal with it.

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 72

Hate me all you want, but I'm right and you can't change that.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 4

Me? For staying the obvious? If that is what registers that condition for you I suspect that title belongs to you.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

ITS A CHILD

8 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 9

Idk about you but by the time was old enough to take a bus to school I knew not to fuck around in traffic, common sense and youth are not

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Mutually exclusive

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

So the Fuck what!? My statement stays true. If you do this and get hit, it's your fault and that is how it should be!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

It's always avoided that having a child is a responsibility, but teaching how to behave is far greater.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Not defending the guy, but being a child is not an excuse this time. it IS very stupid to cross a street without looking. Child or not.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 4

Childs ARE stupid. Thaty why are they called child and not "small adult". It is their job to be stupid and do stupid stuff.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

That comment is stupid, being stupid is not a job, it's a choice. Make the wrong one, and you live with it.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

It is stupid, no disagreement. But it's not deserving of death, man.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Nature would disagree.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

The only reason any of us are alive today is by pure luck. We've all done stuff that could have easily killed us.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

oh yes we did I would be at live number 10 easily by now without luck

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

No, for me it was not running through heavy traffic on a non crossing section. That was my trick. Not being stupid works wonders. Try it.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

So you have never in your life taken a risk or made a mistake that could have killed you, even when you were a child, right?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Exactly right, you take a risk going out of the house in the morning, but that is not what this was. It was a stupid selfish choice.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

U.S. school buses have a flip-out stopsign. Traffic on the far side must stop, and drivers wait to move the bus 'til kids have crossed.

8 years ago | Likes 249 Dislikes 3

This just looks like a regular bus.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This looks like a city bus or something though.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They have to cross in front of the bus to prevent this from happening.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

In Denmark we just teach kids to look for traffic. We're weird, i know O.o

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 17

Same everywhere, but kids will be kids.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Yes, but children tend not to make sound decisions, which is why they're not allowed to live without supervision.

8 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

Thats what we do in Norway too, its not always working so great, as you can see in this video.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Same everywhere, but kids will be kids.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

you should check out the videos from Vancouver. the impatience of drivers is horrifying.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

they have that now. not when I was kid. we had nothing like what buses are now.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

NOT IN MIAMI THEY DONT. Very frustrating to watch cars zoom with the stop sign out.. I see it daily.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Doesn't mean they'll stop

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 11

Not sure why I'm downvoted for being realistic, you can't trust other people, especially American drivers

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Yea but then the chances of getting hit are about equal to getting hit by someone running a red, as opposed to running into moving traffic.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Bus driver gets your plate, you gonna have a bad time

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No but any judge will throw the book at you if that's what you get cited for.

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Yeah sure but you're assuming people will always stop, Americans are idiots... I know first hand

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Running from the police isn't a common issue here.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

yeah, you just have to get the cars to stop when they see it

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

it is a legally enforceable stop sign

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think that law (at least in CA) is named after my friend's brother who died this way. His parents dedicated years to advocating for it.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In germany it goes from general slow in both directions down to walking speed + letting people pass if bus has hazard lights on during stop

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Canada too

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In England we have old women who on some occasions ride mobility scooters in fluorescent clothing and actually stop cars with the force

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's a really good idea. I wonder why they haven't done so over here.

8 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 3

We don't have specialized school buses really. They're mostly ordinary buses doing school duty in the morning, or taxies.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

True dat.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What country are you in?

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Probably some where with better health care.

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 13

Just cause it's free doesn't make it better. Usually makes it worse

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 6

Is that even a school bus? Looks like a commercial bus

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Yeah right? Most people don't stop for those type of buses in US, but school buses usually.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Judging by the kids with backpacks that got off, I’d say that’s a school bus

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Many countries outside the US don't have specialized school buses but kids travel on ordinary bus routes instead.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is quite far countryside in Norway, they take what they can get. Most of the school buses do say so in the front, but we are also >

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Taught to never cross the road until the bus has left and you have a clear view. Apparantly this kid skipped that class

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

School buses outside America are not dedicated for that sole purpose, they're just some local bus companys bus that won the bid for (1/?)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Did not know that. But people stepping out from behind busses like that was something I had drilled into me in drivers ed.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Being local school bus, also kids only get a bus in areas without regular commuter buses, that are far from school, rest walks or (2/?)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ride their bikes to school. (3/3)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah but drivers just go around because they don't care. Really is annoying.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Them going around is annoying not the stops i realized that may come across wrong.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You do this on every road in US?

8 years ago | Likes 166 Dislikes 2

It's the law in every state, we must do it, it's a requirement for licensure, but that doesn't mean that every driver is going to do it.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Canada too

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The main road through the town I used to live in was a busy divided highway. All traffic stopped every time the bus picked up a kid.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No one actually waits.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 6

What makes you say that?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes and some buses even have cameras on the side that will get your license plate if you don't do it.

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Every road that doesn't have some sort of median divider, which is many roads, yes

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In canada too.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Usually, we don’t on roads that are 4 lanes or more. Buses will normally not stop in those areas.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

Some will I seen it in Ohio

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

By law in most areas, if there is one full lane between you and the bus, you don't have to stop.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

i live off of one of the busiest roads in my area and the bus's still stop all 4 lanes.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Kids also won't cross in those areas.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Yeah it really isn't that big of a deal it's mostly in neighborhoods

8 years ago | Likes 142 Dislikes 0

In Highschool I actually crossed a highway. That sign doesnt mean shit at 60 MPH.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Not on roads on lanes 4 or more. I think on 4 lanes if going with the bus you stop but against you can go? Correct me if wrong

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

You're wrong.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

For Ohio: On a road with four or more traffic lanes, drivers approaching a stopped bus from the opposite direction do not need to stop.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

When I rode the school buses on rural roads, we always were told to cross in front of the bus. This way the bus driver had eyes on us.

8 years ago | Likes 71 Dislikes 0

Even cities

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Unless it is your own bus driver that runs over you. Happened to a classmate of mine.

Oh no! We always had that bar that extended out. During the first week this school year, on bus driver almost crashed into me on a rural Rd.

It's required to know it in order to get a license though...

I think you might be the only one not to know about this

Buses in Texas have cameras on the side to get license plates

We also have a lot of unlicensed drivers who don't know many of the rules of the road. I've seen people closely follow emergency vehicles.

I️ think unless the road is divided by a 3-foot median or something they don’t need to

Divided highways and divided roadways. All other situations must stop. Not that they do..

Its the same for emergency vehicles. As long as the median is devided by a barrier you don't stop

Ha, in ks you stop even with a divider

In Los angeles there is a 50-50 chance it's on the wrong side of the road anyways
