When did the US and Canada start arguing?

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When your fascist pedo president threatened our sovereignty

#5 fuck all AI. Carney doesn't have time to do that kind of photo shoot because he's so busy cutting social services, gutting the CBC and our space program and so much other shit

#1 California, Oregon, and Washington secede and join the NAU (North American Union) with Canada and Mexico.

Canadians didn't burn the Whitehouse, it was German mercenaries and British troops (from the Bahamas), led by a British commander who burned the White House- a response to how the Americans had burned down Canada's Parliament buildings. From the (long ago) study of The War of 1812 that I did, while Canada was a focus, they didn't do as much as one would think. Polandball even made a comic about it, which accurately showed that no one won the war of 1812, we just resumed the status quo afterwards

If Canada and California joined forces Canada would become a world power.

I fantasized about Canada absorbing Washington, Oregon, and California. Pie in the sky, but a boy can dream.

if any state is going to Canada, it's Minnesota thank you very much.

#if not for inability to leave union CA could literally be its own country by wealth.

Its a great day for the world.

We'll take Minnesota since they're basically Canada-lite, Colorado since they're pretty much just Alberta/B.C.-lite, and you can toss in California if you feel like it. But we'd be willing to negotiate for Louisiana since the Cajuns are descendents of French-Canadians and so are already like distant cousins.

Anyways, thank you for your time. Our Geese will be in touch with your lawyers.

#1 Oregon and Washington are above California and would love to join! (I'm in Oregon.)

Remember that the Geneva checklist is due to Canada.

Minnesota should be Canadas 11 Providence before California

I'm not particularly interested in any of them, honestly. We've got enough right-wing ignorants without needing to import a whole shitload more.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Exactly. We love hockey and poutine. We're first.

2 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Absolutely! We’ve got loads of maple trees - Canada can have all the sap they can tap if you let us join.

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You what?! Give them back right now!

As a Californian I'm fine with having to wait our turn, it will prove that we, too, can be polite.

Enough border states would be interested that we should hold a lottery.

Except Maine.

You can keep Ohio. To be honest, there is no US state Canada would want - well, maybe annex Alaska but a lot of trumpers up there.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I'd accept Vermont and new Hampshire

President John F. Kennedy said, "Geography has made us neighbours, history has made us friends, economics has made us partners, and necessity has made us allies."

And Donold tRump Senior has made the U.S. our enemy.

USA.. the 4th territory.

Downvoting because of the AI-generated TIME cover. Big fan of Canada, though.

2 months ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 6

#1 Respectfully, no thanks. There's more Trump-voting Republicans in California than there are people in my entire PROVINCE. You can keep them.

2 months ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 2

There's more people in California than in ALL of Canada.

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

#1 "We are a handful" - California

2 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

this is why The Republicans would never accept Canada aas a 51st state. Canada would introduce about as many House Reps as California and they would never accept the Republican policies. they'd be calling for American Universal Health Care, gun control, better social services and support. Canada would become the Bluest state in the country.

BUT, the Republicans would accept Canada as a non-voting American Protectorate so they could control all Canada's resources with no payback.

They could take Western Washington and Oregon too. They can keep West Idaho
